Shawn helped the whole ceremony run smoothly. It’s so busy as a bride, but he made sure we stayed on track with the whole evening. Shawn also showed up early for us to ensure music was playing when guests arrived. Shawn was always available prior to wedding with any questions I had! I owe so much of my wedding success to him!

Shawn DJ’d and MC’d our wedding this past weekend and he did such an amazing job. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. He coordinated with my caterer and photographer so well. He can really read a crowd and played a great variety of music. We all had a blast! Thank you so much Shawn!

Shawn was a great choice for our back yard reception. He took the time for a phone conversation prior to booking to ensure he would be a good fit for us and that we were booking the right package for our venue and vision.He was also flexible when we needed to change our date and venue due to COVID.The day of the event he showed up with ample time to set up and get the party started, our dance floor was full the entire night. What a great decision to hire Shawn!

We originally met Shawn at a formal event for my wife’s company. I noticed it was an older crowd but he could really read the crowd.We then hired him for our wedding reception and honestly he killed it!Once again even at times he could read the room and know what songs to put on to bring us back to the dance floor!He brought an amazing lighting package that made the night even that more special!I know that if I ever need a Dj for any sort of event exactly who I will call!He was personable really funny and hard working!10 outta 10 in my books!Thanks again sir for your services that night truly was amazing!

If you are looking for an amazing Wedding DJ - you’ve found him.We hired Shawn for our outdoor wedding ceremony and reception. The ceremony music and sound was perfect. Shawn then went above and beyond to keep our dinner and reception moving smoothly and worked with our MC to make sure everything was covered!The dance floor was full from the start of our dance to the very end- we had so much fun. I’m so glad I went with Shawn for our wedding! This man knew how to read the crowd, he had the music going well enough that even when we were hot and went outside we could hear and were still bouncing around to the music. Many many times he had everyone running from different directions to the dance floor to join in on the dances!His lights, his atmosphere and everything about Shawn as a Dj made our night that much better!Thank you so much Shawn for being amazing, you truly made the night what it was! :)

Shawn DJ'd our wedding in August at Farmhill. He took the time for an hour long call the week before the wedding and he made sure the entire night went smoothly. Music was very important to us and he nailed it. He also went the extra mile in helping to get our guests set up for a sparkler first dance, which was beautiful! Highly recommend!

Shawn was the most incredible DJ for our wedding. He played the crowd, kept the party going, and was a great MC. But above all he went out of his way to ensure things were running on schedule and improvised when needed. It helped our day run so smoothly and we had TONS of compliments on the music for our reception and cocktail hour. I would recommend him a million times over!

Shawn did our wedding on October 10th. He also took care of all of the MC duties and kept the night flowing for us. He had good suggestions And he’s good at reading the crowd! Everyone was very happy with the music variety. I would certainly recommend Shawn Hurd as a DJ for any occasion. Thanks Shawn for a great night!
