Extraordinary ambience and beautiful beach view added with good selection of delicious food and drinks. My favourite dish is 48 Hour short rib. Lamb meatballs for appetizers was also good. Calebaut Dark Chocolate Mousse is a must try desert.

The restaurant is lovely and the location on Victoria's Inner Harbour is superbly beautiful. The staff are friendly and welcoming and reasonably efficient. However we were very disappointed in our meal. We both had the bacon and egg breakfast, which they called The Standard, which consisted of eggs, bacon, fried potatoes and toast. The meal sounded good but it was absolutely dripping in grease to the point where it tasted sickening. It was virtually inedible. We expected much more for the cost of the dish which was $22. We will definitely give this restaurant a miss in the future.

Ambiance was great. Stablefish and crab cakes were amazing. The chefs seared and crisped up the skin on the fish perfectly.Lindsey our server was sweet and attentive. All staff in the restaurant have been amazing since our stay.Definitely recommend!

Some of the most creative food we have had in a while. The combination of flavours was great. Fantastic views of the harbour. Easy parking at the hotel, which is free if dining there. Great night out.

Let’s start with the positive. View is extraordinary, you get to see the inner harbour from a very good angle. Staff are friendly and helpful. Now the terrifying part is the food which is a hit and miss. Chicken wings were amazing. Burger, sandwich, and fish and chips were horrifying. It’s hard to screw up fish and chips on the island. So many other places do it so well. The batter was very thick AND soft. Thick batter we have seen, but soft thick uncooked batter is weird. As for the the burger and sandwiches, bacon was very hard, patty all you taste is salt, and the buns were quite burned. Fries, some were not folly cooked. Manager was quick to address our experience. People here are nice, but I don’t know if I would risk the chance for the food though.

When we sat down and read the menu we had the impression the food would be average. However, dish after dish proved the opposite - Artful presentation, quality ingredients, unique combinations that exploded with flavour. We both thought everything was delicious and special. Oh, and the servers were warm, friendly, and great at their jobs. The view didn’t disappoint either.

We originally had plans to go to Boom and Batten but the wait time was 2 hours so we decided to walk to Lure….We wish we hadn’t.Very very disappointing and underwhelming experience here, it was so unappetizing we didn’t take any photos…And the limited lunch menu was a huge letdown.Ordered the “shrimp” BLT…what a bloody disaster and disappointment.No lie here but there was a whopping 3 - YES 3 shrimp on the sandwich, the avocado made a complete mushy mess of the sandwich and it fell apart every time you tried to pick up half of it to eat.I gave up and used a fork and knife.My hands were filthy with avocado residue along with the extreme amount of sauce they put on the bread.My realtor friend had the avocado toasties, that alone for the price was an embarrassment.For the price, we won’t be back, even the service was cruddy and we felt ignored and we weren’t talked to by our server for almost 10 minutes after sitting down (the restaurant had 5 other tables during lunch time and with the Van Gogh exhibit in the vicinity, we assumed it would be packed, this alone should have made us go elsewhere)When an almost empty restaurant that has stunning views, during peak season, is this slow, there is a reason for itOne request, balance your tables, there is nothing nice about a topsy table when you are eating.For the record, we both left hungry and went for a slice of pizza when we left.Good luck Lure, with so many other stellar restaurants in your area, you need to up your game.

Overlooking the harbor, this restaurant offers a stunning view that captivates. Too bad the rest wasn't the same. While the service was fine but not great, the food falls short of inspiration or taste. Nonetheless, the picturesque location may still appeal to those seeking a scenic dining experience with average culinary offerings.
