Amazing and compassionate care from all the staff as they helped us to say goodbye to our beautiful chocolate lab - they were caring, professional & empathetic, helping to make that difficult experience special for our family. Thank you.

Lauren was terrific. She helped with the intake process and made sure my dog (a rescue, with high reactivity & anxiety) was comfortable. She kept me fully informed throughout the process (due to Covid restrictions, I was not allowed to enter the building) and followed-up by email. She was very friendly and professional. Dr. Ardiel was professional, but unfortunately rather condescending to me on the phone. Maybe she would have been nicer in person. However, in the end, my dog got the care he needed and Lauren made the experience very personal.

This is a business that just happens to deal with animals, their main concern is up selling to maximise for profit, especially during this pandemic. On my last visit they would only accept credit card payments over the phone, and you are encouraged to do this from your car. I had a brand new credit card and used it only once at this vet and nowhere else. Within days I discovered over $20,000.00 had been racked up on my card. So, I would not trust this place at all. I think I'm being generous with 1 star here, anyone that would steal from a senior citizen is pretty low in my books. My advice is to stay away from them and find an honest vet!

We are new in town and Balsam Veterinary was recommended to us. We just had our visit with Cody our Goldendoodle and he loved them! They are safely running the office and staff are all really friendly. It is great to find a place Cody will be in good hands with. Thank you

Have always received very good care from Dr.Ardiel & her staff. I'm back with my new pup having said goodbye to my last lovely dog last year. Dr.Ardiel did not try to make me take tests or procedures when I knew it was time to say goodbye to my faithful old girl but was supportive and efficient.

So, so, so happy with my first visit to Balsam Veterinary Office! The receptionists here are second to none - friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and so caring (Lauren and Lauren, you guys were the reason I decided to book here over any other clinic in the area. You two are phenomenal at your job and certainly go over and above, it is so appreciated! Can't believe how much you KNOW! You answered so many questions I had about my sick cat Cheddar and about Ace's sore toe.) Since I have moved cities quite a few times, I've dealt with many different vet clinics and have often found front desk staff to never be overly friendly or caring, so thank you for changing that for me.Dr Ardiel was kind, punctual, and very thorough with Ace. They took him in right away and we were in and out in about 30 minutes. When I got my bill, I was pleasantly surprised as well. We will definitely be making this office our home vet now that we have moved to CW. Thanks guys, for the advice, friendliness, treats, and exceptional care. You guys are the best!

The team at Balsam is absolutely wonderful! Our elderly cat got sick suddenly and I desperately needed to take her to a vet. I called Balsam and Lauren was super understanding and sweet and arranged some time for that same day with Dr. Ardiel. From the moment I spoke to Lauren, I could tell that I would be taking my cat to a team that cared deeply for her well-being. Throughout the treatment, Dr. Ardiel was caring, informative, knowledgeable and understanding. Lauren was speedy at responding to emails and organizing next visits, as well as demonstrating genuine care for my cat. The whole team showed great expertise and true humane caring for both my cat and ourselves during a difficult time. Should we ever get another pet, we would not hesitate to take it to Balsam. We never felt pressured into getting expensive treatments for our dog. We were given the options for his care and it was our decision going forward on those occasions.
