I and quite a few friends have been going to this place for years. Nothing but good service from them. Took my 09 Mazda 3 to a dealer that wanted $1800 to do repairs / Maintenance and after letting Tommy look at it the bill was $560. Great Service and they do not repair what does not need it. Cheers...

We were reccomended to take our car here from a friend. We have now been using Tommy and his brother for 6+ years and they are solid and trustworthy not to mention the fact that they're really nice guys too. They're always straight with us about what needs to be fixed and never push us to do anything extra. We will continue to take our vehicles here as long as they exist! Highly reccomend!

A very honest and caring shop. I was quoted an absurd amount at Mr.Lube for some services they were trying to upsell (basically they made it sound like my car was broken), then I brought it in for a second opinion at Lam & Sons, the owner did some quick checks, replaced some fluids and my car was good to go. None of the issues mentioned by Mr.Lube are critical, and there was still around 20,000 km to go before any major maintenance. This place has earned my business for years to come.

This is the only car repair shop I truly trust. We moved over to the Island a few years ago and I still take my car over to see Tommy (the owner) if at all possible. We had an issue with our Mazda ‘surging’ once and had it towed to the nearest mechanic, who said the vehicle would need the engine rebuilt, and I sent it over to Lam & Sons and they cleaned out the air filter (who knew?) and it’s had no problem since! Saved us thousands of dollars. They do great work at affordable, reasonable prices.

Love this mechanic! Tommy is very friendly and helpful. Other mechanics have made us feel silly in the past for some of our questions but Tommy is always really nice, informative, and gives you options. Prices are really fair. We are so happy to have a local mechanic we trust!

Had a rear differential leak and was quoted some $1200++ at one shop. Very professional! Told that it’d take me over 5 hours to do.So someone recommended I call Lam & Sons.Tommy is a straight up guy who is on time to receive my vehicle, gave a rough quote, and the bill came like $15 over the quote...He did give me an estimate of near 4 hours as I’d dropped the car off at 830am, so I expected 2pm to pickup,but he called me to inform me that the car was ready by noon!!!Pleasantly serviced and problem sorted, and $1000 saved!I’ve found the guys to take care of my car now!Thanks Tommy and crew, you guys rock!

I had starter problems with my aging Hyundai Santa Fe. I called first thing in the morning, drove over, explained the issue and left my vehicle in their care while I walked back to my house (bonus steps for me). I called 2-3 hours later to find it had already been repaired, and they did an extra service for me, free of charge, in re-attaching a side panel (I did mention it was an aging Santa Fe). I had already priced out starters lest I try this on my own. The final cost was a bit less than expected, the service was quick, and I drove away a satisfied customer. I would return.

My car was making clunking noises. Took it to the dealership, they charged me to look and couldn't find a reason, took it to another shop, they couldn't hear it" (???). Took it to these guys and they found the issue in the ball joint and fixed it. No more noise.Fast service and super reasonable price. They are my go-to mechanics now as I don't feel they take advantage of my lack of knowledge and can get the job done!"

This shop is absolutely amazing!!! Customer service provided from the staff and shop owner are exceptional. Excellent service provided did the necessary service on my vehicle for a great price in a timely fashion.
