Northview Insurance

We have had two poor experiences with this company. The first time was going to reinsurance a car and because we didn't have the paperwork they were going to charge us $20 to look it up on the computer. What!Today, my daughter,who is in the US needed a copy of her previous insurance papers from 2019 and was told by this company to call icbc to get them to send the paperwork to northview and then northview would process the request. Huh? Called another insurance company and they looked up the insurance paperwork ( not even with them) and within seconds had it sent to my daughter. What is wrong with this company? Forget about going the extra mile, they won't even go the extra inch!

I have had a chance to go to Northview Insurance thrice and every time my experience hasn’t been good at all. My observation is that the majority of the staff is not knowledgeable enough to explain simple things like different auto plan options. They don’t feel interested in answering your query and want to be done with you ASAP. It’s convenient location to go to but not going there again and have recommended all my family and friends to use someone else.

I went in to get a quote for my home insurance and the staff was very helpful. They got me the maximum discount that I was eligible for and gave me quotes from 4 different companies. I ended up paying around $400 less than I was currently paying for the same coverages. I would definitely recommend these guys!

very unprofessional, i had secondary driver added to my insurance and girls never bothered to match the license number and i end up paying apox 100$ extra each month on auto insurance. Icbc system was showing his out of province licence which made our insurance go up. When I confronted girls at that tym they said its a new licence that’s why i wld be paying so extra. I end up figuring this out on renewal now and icbc wldn’t refund whatever extra i had paid in previous term. There was no way i wld have known this other than the girl who helped us back then. Please do confirm your details and queries with them.

Garbage service, staff was uninformative on necessary information, and hid details that I needed in an attempt to just draw more money from me. The staff blamed me for not knowing the answer to my own question (day pass permits) said I should know... However I am not the insurance brokers, they are.Wasted my time, nearly took more money out of me for nothing, and yelled at me when I was explaining my issue of their poorly informative service.1/10 Avoid there's better service elsewhere.

Total and complete lack of customer service! I obtained my policy from this office about two weeks earlier. I then called them to simply ask if I had roadside plus coverage on my existing policy and they were completely rude and refused to assist me over the phone. She persisted in refusing to assist me for several minutes then finally consented to check as I could easily provide all the policy and my demographic information. Upon learning I did not have this coverage, she adamantly refused to help me add it over the phone saying I needed to come into the office which I was not able to do. I ended the call and contacted another agency and they were easily able to add the additional coverage over the phone. Save yourself the hassle and get your policy somewhere else to start!

We have been getting insurance services from Northview Insurance for several years now for a variety of different services. The quality of service and the friendliness of the staff never fails to impress us. Most recommended!
