Villeneuve Airport

Just managed to get through the gate to the air show today. This is the most disorganized event I have ever been to. Nobody giving directions and no signs on the road directing traffic flow. When you finally get parked there are lines going everywhere. No indication of which line is the entrance which is to buy tickets. Lots of people feeling frustrated!! There is no doubt that these events are going to draw lots of people. That is great but when they are not organized it really does spoil the event. We decided to come because we were still waiting for our refund from 2019’s cancelled event. Thought we would give the Airshow another chance. Won’t be doing this again.!! We will make the drive to Cold Lake next time. Their event is always well organized and very busy!!

The Airport is inviting with a touch of ultra modern. It has clean lines, free movement of space, and offers a variety of shops and areas for dining. The layout is very effective and moves patrons quickly and efficiently. The EIA staff are very helpful and courteous. Seating is very spacious and comfortable without sacrificing style.

I loved it! However, there were a few issues.1 The amount of people to food truck was to high hence we could not eat or drink2 The walk from the fence to the view area is to far, the caravans should be running steady for all people, disabled or not it. It is a long way for an elder person to walk and children too3 In my opinion water should be furnished with the ticket price4 The washrooms were great no waiting clean and not smelly5 I did not see the B1B we stayed till 4 and did not see it so we went home6 We all had a real good time

I will definitely visit the air show again

We planned to go for airshow. Vehicles stuck for more than an hour. No arrangement for traffic control by the organizers. Waste of money spent on buying tickets. 5 hours on the road & still away from away from airport. Watched all airshow from the highway. They should give refunds.

Quite the busy airport! We’ve been in the loop for some good time before a runway clear for us landing..

Went there for the Alberta air show, lots of parking and things to do, it's best to be there early.

Some of the worst organized air shows I have ever been too. Yes, this is not the airport's fault...but I question their judgment by hosting the 'Alberta International/Edmonton Air Show' at thier Airport. The people whom run this show are unprofessional, and super underprepareed to run such a large event.FYI; if you do decide to go, know that the location is kind of out of the way, and esspessially if you're coming from Edmonton, or nearby areas, be sure to give yourself atleast an extra 45mins-to an hour of drive time on top of the recommended Goggle 'distance' travel time. The slow two lane highways and the tiny range roads clog right up from highway intersection to highway intersection. And there is little to no help from the RCMP with the insane amount of backed up traffic.

Went here for the air show. Loved it !
