Great place, people, easy access to the trails and an incredibly clean cabin to come back to at the end of each riding day. The food was amazing, but, remember to leave room for the remarkable desserts! Thanks to the entire Elk Lake Wilderness Resort team for a wonderful experience.

Elk Lake Wilderness Resort
Spend a few nights at this resort snowmobiling with friends. The location is great for many day trip loops. Cabins are basic but very clean and we’re equipped with everything needed for your stay.It was also great to be able to park your truck and trailer beside the cabin.After a long day of snowmobiling, it was great to come back, shower and have hot food delivered to your cabin. The food portions are extremely generous and food was fantastic!We are looking forward to coming back again next year!

Great spot! Owners are extremely friendly but give you full privacy, my wife and I stayed in cabin #3 private views. Tons of space and extremely clean. Owners accommodated our late arrival. Easy access to sled trails - off the highway but you can't hear it at all.Cabins are very cozy, full kitchen, lots of bedding, big bathroom, cozy wood walls. Just like my childhood cottage. Will definitely come back in future.30 mins to englehart, new liskeard, etc.Wayyyyy better than paying similar money for a hotel in new liskeard.

Just great!!!! There were 6 of us who stayed in the 3 bedroom cabin for a 4 day snowmobile trip. Everything about this place was just FANTASTIC! The beds were good, cabins were warm, lots of parking and the food was unbelievable! The fridge was fully stocked for all of our breakfasts and our meals were brought to our cabin when we got back from sledding! We broke some helmet cables and they had replacements to buy right on site.One of the guys in our group had a helmet issue and the owners let him use his personal helmet so he did have to miss 1 minute if sledding!!!!!! Fantastic place and wouldn’t look anywhere else to stay next time we are in the area!! (some of the guys will be back for a 4 wheeling trip)

We were there February 10th weekend of 2023 for a sledding. It was our second time there and it’s absolutely fantastic! The service and home cooked meals are to die for! Very very tasty especially the homemade pizza. They leave all the breakfast food for you to make on your own and deliver dinner to your cabin at an arranged time. Cabins are dated but very clean and their is everything you need. Towels, shampoo, conditioner and bedding. And they have fuel onsite for the machines.The view is beautiful over looking the Montreal River. Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed!!Thank you Elk Lake staff for a great experience!

Had a great time on a couples snowmobile trip. Cozy Cottages and excellent food. I look forward to returning and recommend staying here any season of the year. It is right on a lake and snowmobile trails. Plenty of room to park the trailers. Owners are super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

We stopped here for lunch while out riding the snowmobile trails.It's a tiny place with only a few tables to eat at, but the people serving (may have been the owners?) were fabulous. The grilled cheese is excellent!!

Elk Lake Wilderness Resort
5 of us stayed here on the first and last night of our 7 days snowmobile trip, had a great stay both nights. Jay and Mallory who own it are very accommodating. Very nice and clean cabins, great dinners brought to your cabin and breakfast ingredients providing in the cabin. Would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the elk lake area, we will definitely be staying there again.

Great sledding destination for a bunch of guys. Right on the trail.Food was awesome. Super friendly staff. Really great people. Premium fuel on site.Rooms were very clean and practical - a little rustic (wood panelling).
