I had a great experience here today.. The doctor was amazing, efficient and very understanding of my situation.. they filled out my paperwork properly and faxed it in.. They even kept a copy on file for records.. It was easy to make an appt and they didn't keep me waiting for 45 mins which is the norm at the Downtown health clinic, its the worst clinic I've ever been to .

I received amazing care from the urgent care team... after a knee injury, I saw a physiotherapist, who referred me to a doctor, who referred me to a surgeon. I felt cared for by all of these people, and the team surrounding them.Thanks guys, you don't get enough credit :)

Far too many bad experiences at this clinic. I've been a client for 4 years and most of the Drs" haven't got a clue. Poor bedside manner and poor education. I've been shamed

Yes, we are lacking care providers in Kamloops and you have to win the que lottery to get through. The staff are all friendly and patient considering what I assume is an immense stress load because no one enjoys the process of trying to get ahold of them. I called right at 10, waited on hold about 45 minutes, we had an appointment at 415 and we were driving away at 445. Easy peasy. Dr. Rogers was so patient and kind with my daughter and everything. The system is frustrating and no discredit to that, but the actual service provided at this location is excellent!!

Rude staff made me wait while they finished personal conversations, I've never been more rudely treated by a doctor. He was accusatory, forced my movements beyond what was comfortable and caused pain. Denied a previous injury until finally reviewing my file. Acted like I was there for a pay out or prescription without ever once asking how I was feeling. Don't visit this clinic, you'll leave in more pain than when you arrive.

They do their best with what they have. The healthcare system is in shambles in general but I am just happy this place exists to ease pressure off of the ER. Yes, tough to get in because their phone line is crazy busy the second it opens. Is that normal for walk ins? Yes! Is that normal for being the ONLY walk-in in town (after all of them shut down in the last few years?) Yes! The doctors here are also the doctors in rotation with the hospital.

No sure as why the low ratings. I left message they called back and told me Drs going to call next day at 9am. Dr called at 9am, very nice Dr. I thought amazing experience, I would give 10 stars, if I could especially in our health care crisis.

I got through easier when calling in the afternoon rather than when they first open for calls in the morning. I have redialed many times over in the morning just to get in the cue to have call answered. My appointment was easy to book for the evening and once at the clinic the Staff are kind and helpful. Covid questions still in place and all protocols still in place.

It is difficult to get through & yes people are ranting hard against them but they saved my life! Say what you want but please don't judge the amazing people doing amazing work by a less than ideal appointment making system.
