Caledon Apartments

I just moved in not too long ago and can tell you that thus far I am happy. Ryan and the team are amazing at what they do and so very helpful. Units are clean and everyone is so friendly. Not sure why there are so little nice things to say. Love it here.

Move here if you want tiny washrooms and old outdated kitchenettes. Move here if you want staff that doesn't care a bit about their tenants and even encourages them to move out by increasing the rent every year without adding anything new to the unit. They double the rent increase every year (10,20,40,80 extra per year).

Ryan is a great building manager and helped my friend find a good apartment that worked for his needs. Great customer service and support!

This is the most disruptive place ive rented. Laundry machines that tear up your new clothes and put holes within weeks . 8 hours water shut downs that last two weeks at a time. Gym with 2 working machines. Cant use the gym bc theres no ventilation and all you can smell is cigarette smoke . Why would you want to work out and breathe all that in ?! Expensive paid underground parking that transient bike people roam around . Constant notes and threats all over common areas. Pool that stops being cleaned half way through summer. Having to run the water for 15 mins before getting any hot. Monthly inspections for made up reasons . Entire floors reeking of cigarette smoke. Construction that lasts years and constant banging and machinery noise . Superintendents are nice but this just isn't worth the headache .

Really clean and nice building. The staff is amazing Julian and ryan are always available and happy to help. Really feels like a big family. After living in so many apartments this one is by far the nicest. Building is slightly old but still very nice. Better then minto and vertica company. This building is amazing and I love it here.

One star is being extremely grateful to this company. Right from day one we had issues. Our unit wasn't fully renovated and we were left with massive paint stains, drywall mud all over the flooring, and the tiles were covered in full grout to name a few. The lack of effort from the contractors showed to me that they had zero care for any type of work they did. Two weeks after submitting work orders NOTHING had been completed! Every time I asked, “why it wasn't done yet” I was given the same, scripted answer oh the workers just didn't show up today". It took them 30 days to just replace the ripped window screens. I told the staff I didn't want any work "repaired" in the unit because of how fed up I got with them

Pros:-Onsite staff extremely friendly (cant say enoigh good things about Stewart. When frusted about tempature, he remained calm and completely friendly well explaining he had no control of it)-New building-Good layoutCons:-You actually dont have control of your heat and a/c in each unit. As they sell, you can only control heat 2 degrees either way which equals very hot inside or extremely cold. The feature was a huge selling point that i now learned is false.-No pool/ Next to know equipment in gym-Homestead is very behind on technology, i cant get anyones email only phone calls which are rarely answered.-Cleaning (Pile of thumb tacks has been on floor in garage near main entrance for past month)Sum:For the cost of over 3,000.00 a month (My two bedroom) its very over priced for what you get. They seem to have bought a quality Molinaro building with great potential and are giving it a very small operating budget.
