Malachite Midwives
I have had the opportunity to have a midwife with all my four babies but this was my first time with Malachite (I recently moved to Kelowna). Having a baby during a pandemic had an impact on my care (a couple virtual appointments and few less than normal) but despite this challenge I felt very well cared for by my midwives (Heather and Julia). They were respectful, attentive and professional. I know I’ve found good midwives when I feel sad to say goodbye on my last appointment and I start thinking about having another baby so we can hang out again! Thank you Julia and Heather for your wonderful care!

I have worked with many women who have had their pregnancy and birth cared for by this incredible group of ladies and last year I was able to experience their care first hand with my first baby. Their are professional and compassionate and strongly value supporting you in having the birth experience of your dreams. Strongly recommend.

Amazing, supportive team at Malachite resulting in really wonderful, personalized care throughout my pregnancy/early postpartum journey. The whole team is knowledgeable and kind and always provided me with all the information available and then supported me wholeheartedly with my decisions regarding it. Personal shout outs to Maxine and team green for their pre & postpartum care and to Danielle for helping bring my baby into this world. I can’t imagine going through this experience without this team beside me and should I decide to expand our family again I will not do it without them!

We were absolutely thrilled and impressed with the care we received through Malachite. All of the midwives are informed, professional and caring and make the whole crazy process of pregnancy a lot less daunting. The post-natal care they provide is amazing and makes such a big difference in those early days. I have recommended Malachite to anyone who asks and hope to use them again in the future!

So fantastic! Compared to my first pregnancy with an OB, the level of care from a midwife is so comprehensive and personal. I appreciate the environment of the clinic which was very relaxing and homey. Vanessa was outstanding in her level of knowledge and sensitivity, and really put me at ease. The follow-up home visits were so helpful in that first week as well. Absolutely recommend to anyone with a low-risk pregnancy.

Great group of midwives to work with. All of them are young and energetic, but well experienced. Appreciated Taylor, Ashley, and Cammi's care throughout my pregnancy and transfer to specialist care in hospital at the end. They were there when I needed them and helped me understand what was going on and feel ok with the change in plans. :)
