Jain Center of Metro Chicago (or JSMC) is a place for Jain education, spiritual upliftment and vibrant community activities for 2000+ Jain families in and around Chicago and the Mid-West. Having celebrated its 25th Anniversary with pomp in 2018, JSMC continues to grow steadily with the support from its encouraging members, hard-working volunteers, generous donors, and a dynamic Board of Trustees and Executive Committee.Religious celebrations, austerities and education are very well complemented by family-friendly community events, food court, health clinic and programs for humanitarian support, animal welfare (Jivdaya) and student financial aid.JSMC Facilty rental is a great option for organizations or individuals looking for a spacious, affordable and modern space for their events or meetings.

Attended the COVID vaccine drive. Process was so smooth, staff was friendly, efficient and enforced social distancing protocols. The nurses were very sweet and gentle! Everything was safe and clean. Thank you!

Phenomenal work done over last 10-15 years in developing a place of worship like this, and it only keeps getting better..From developing the right value system in kids to activities for adults - management does a phenomenal selfless job..Hats off!!

We went to the temple on out recent trip to chicago. Had opportunity of 24 tirthankar pratimaji darshan and all devi devata darshan in the temple. We went on a friday evening and it was very quite in there.. Must visit temple

Jai Jinendra.Being a Life Time member for many years, I’ve personally witnessed the exponential growth of JSMC.We live around 130 miles away from the temple; and we visit the temple multiple times during the year for our religious and spiritual growth. Each visit we are in awe with the way the Board, committee members, and the group of volunteers plan the activities and events.We just returned from a two and a half day visit to the temple during this Paryushana. Despite the pandemic related challenges, everything was planned perfectly.Each of the special pujas, Mahavir Kalyanak event, Swamivatsalaya, in temple puja, lectures, check-in process, etc. were done flawlessly. I personally felt like we just came back from a Jatra (pilgrimage).Thanks (Anumodna) to all volunteers, committee members, and Board members, for making our visits to the temple so comfortable, spiritual, and memorable. Anumodna also to the family members of the volunteers for continuing to support them.

Nice quiet place for Jain devotees. The derasar has a huge common hall as well for functions. Ample parking space for all. Has access as well as parking for disabled people as well. Has a visible red board which shows the direction to the derasar from the highway. One can enjoy a tranquil atmosphere while meditating.

Nice auditorium it's very good place for large functions like marriage and the dining hall is also good it's really big and had very nice kitchen definitely helpful for everyone.I like this place a lot went for srinivasa kalyanam done by Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam (TTD).I really felt happy to attend the function in a best place like this in the suburb of Chicago.Even for Uber this place is really good to have quick pick-up.

Probably the best organized vaccination drive I've ever been to....re-assured everyone throughout the line that they would get their vaccine and they just needed to be patient. Kept us updated with time frame and stayed very close to schedule. I commend their efforts and planning.

Great place to explore culture, learn about the origin of nonviolence pheonmomen that inspired the likes of Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King and also buy vegetarian and vegan snacks and desserts
