I travelled to Egypt with Tryps in April 2023 and it was not what I was expecting at all, but in the best way. You do all the big site seeing on this trip, but then you get really immersed into the Egyptian culture while still hitting all the touristy sites. You go from the pyramids of Giza to camping under the stars in the desert with Bedouins and everything in between. The egyptologists in each city we went to were AMAZING and so passionate about their job, even though there’s still so much to find out about Egypt and its history.Our Tryp leader, Kimo, was so accommodating throughout the trip. He genuinely cared about how everyone within the group was doing and felt more like a friend than a tour guide at the end of my time in Egypt.This isn’t your cookie cutter trip to Egypt and if you are wanting a really immersive into this country and all of its history, going with Tryps would be the best option.

You know how you have those trips in your life that change you? The ones that no matter where in the world you go, you'll remember forever? Well this one of them. Kareem and the Tryps crew did an amazing job at curating the perfect Egypt trip. It was a perfect balance of history, culture and adventure. If you have Egypt on your bucket list, but don't know where to start planning, Tryps has got you! It's a jam packed pace with lots of things to see and learn in a small amount of time, but the team does an amazing job at making sure everyone is comfortable. I'm already planning my next adventure with Tryps!

I recently went on the Discover Egypt trip with Tryps and I truly have nothing but amazing things to say. The entire process from pre-departure to post-trip was extremely smooth, structured, and organized. It was nice to just show up, have everything already setup, and just focus on making new friends and having fun. I must add, Kimo, our trip leader was fantastic. He made sure we were well prepared prior to the trip from all angles, that we were making the most of our experience during the trip, and that we stayed connected after the trip ended. Egypt has always been a top bucket-list destination of mine and I would recommend anyone who feels the same to experience all that Egypt has to offer with Tryps. The itinerary was perfectly curated to cover the depths of this country. I left this trip feeling fulfilled because not only did I make new friends and memories, but I got to experience more to Egypt than I ever thought there was. Thank you Tryps, I’ll definitely be booking with you again very soon :)

Went on the egypt trip with my mother and brother and had the time of an absolute lifetime, I will never forget the experience, everything was so well organized, everyone was so lovely and the activities were amazing. 100/10 I recommend this to anyone looking for the time of their life!!

I have been fortunate enough to do both the Egypt and the Amalfi sailing Tryps. I can truly say that both exceeded any & all of my expectations.Egypt had always been on my bucket list, but never in my wildest dreams did I expect to experience it quite like this. We got to see so much of the country and experience all that it has to offer. The itinerary of course includes the expected tourist stops such as the pyramids and museums, but so many other authentic experiences that were only made possible because of the connections that this company has made over the years.I look back at all of the activities that we did; camping under the stars in the white desert, sand boarding, sailing the Nile, sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings, scuba diving in the Red Sea.There are far too many to list but the activities were unreal & I would do them all again! And while we did stay at a few hotels throughout our stay, my favourite part was staying in the smaller villages, getting to meet & enjoy the company of those that opened their homes to us. It's one thing to visit Egypt & another to truly experience it. And this was an experience I will never forget.I just recently got back from sailing the Amalfi coast. This was my first time in Italy & also my first experience sailing and living on a boat. I honestly can't imagine seeing the coast any other way! Instead of taking the train from town to town, we spent our days sailing, stopping for swims along the way & getting to see the towns in all their glory from the comfort of our boat. We still had plenty of time to dock, explore the towns & enjoy all of the great food. But there was such an ease knowing that you had a home on the water to come back to every night. We were four boats and 40 people in total, but by the end of the Tryp we were one fleet & one family. I can truly say that I met people on this Tryp that I will be connected to for the rest of my life.Can't wait for my next adventure with Tryps!

I've travelled to so many countries with friends, family, and solo yet this one, with Tryps, has been the best Tryp I've had to this day. It had every enriching experience you can get from solo travelling. You meet like minded people who want to explore the world and are open to new adventures, cultures, traditions and norms, and meeting new people that turn into great friends. The organizers, Kareem and Carl, were well informed, communicative and available but the best part is you felt that they were part of the group. We all danced, swam, ate and hiked together. You get to know everybody on a personal level, as you explore different islands together, even the boat skippers who were amazing, friendly, and very professional. They teach you all you need to know about knotting cleats, anchoring, sailing in general and - most vital bit - they know how to party. 1000% would recommend this to everyone.If there was one con about this trip is that we needed more time on the different islands to explore them all equally. Other than that, everything about the trip was wonderful.

10 out of 5 stars!! If you have ever dreamed of seeing the pyramids in Egypt, Tryps will make an already incredible experience even more special. Kimo, the host of the trip sets the tone and makes you feel like a long lost friend. You’re supported and taken care of in a culture that might feel different with someone who speaks Arabic but you quickly realize how safe and wonderful Egypt is. You get to experience the tourist destinations with a mixture of special experiences that only someone with a deep connection to Egypt could provide. The formula to a perfect trip is created here and it is an adventure that you will never forget. Plus you get to see king tut and camp in the desert, I mean come onnnnnn.

One of the best travel experiences I've ever had was joining Tryps on a 10-day adventure through Egypt. Our group became a family and our destination felt like a new home. Kareem and the team do an excellent job at facilitating an experience that makes you feel safe and taken care of while also being outside of your comfort zone. I cannot recommend this experience enough.

It was a spectacular trip. I think the best of my life. Everything was planned and designed to enjoy to the fullest. I highly recommend taking at least one of these trips. I went to Egypt and it exceeded all my expectations. Thank you for making this possible.

I did the Ice Plunge at Oak Lake, this was my first experience with Tryps and my first time traveling alone. As a female I am less prone to traveling on my own and was a bit anxious, but from the moment I got to Oak Lake to the moment I left not once did I ever feel alone!The whole experience was designed to make everyone feel welcomed and safe and that’s exactly how I felt. Every little detail of the trip was thought out and planed well, making the itinerary so easy to follow which I really appreciated. Kimo the man behind Tryps was the ideal group leader he was attentive and caring, thank you Kimo!!Their were also A LOT of surprises throughout the trip that made it even more memorable, all 3 days exceeded my expectations. I went into this trip as a stranger and left with life time friends, and now I can’t wait to try one of their overseas trips!!!Overall a phenomenal experience!! :D
