Scott and his team's work on our home was excellent. His proposal was very detailed and the approach they would be taking was explained in a way that was understandable since I don't have much experience with this type of work. The job site was kept so clean each day, the crew was there for about a week. Scott was honest and always returned my calls when I had question. Recommended them to my parents who also ended up using them and were equally as happy!

Our home was built in 1935. EC Foundations performed a foundation test hole in 2021 with a professional engineering firm, Morey Associates. We hired them for a subsequent foundation reinforcement and waterproofing, validated again by the same licensed professional engineer of Morey Associates.Scott and his team deserve a 5 out of 5 for professionalism, courtesy, reliability, predictability, communication, organization and teamwork with other trades.Our home had potential issues identified by a property inspector, due to the presence of a huge tree with large roots close to our house removed several years ago. We interviewed a few reputable foundation firms before deciding to go with EC Foundations. Scott listened attentively to our concerns and followed up on them which forged a bond of trust.They executed the foundation digs flawlessly and the fact that he was present and monitoring the entire project led us to feel confident that all was done correctly. They protected our lawns, irrigation system and returned all topsoil to the garden bed. The best companies make minor mistakes, like anyone. The difference with EC Foundations is that any concerns or requests we made were addressed promptly. We feel that the costs were fair for the extensive work.We plan another project to create a new garage and foundation in the next couple of years. EC Foundations, hands down will be our first choice for this project too! Thanks again to Scott and his dedicated team.

We hired EC foundations to underpin and waterproof our foundation. Scott and his crew were exceptional – easy to speak with, extremely knowledgeable, clean, and professional at every turn. They patiently answered our many questions and spent time walking us through the repair process. Scott and his crew addressed the inevitable surprises that come with such projects calmly and fairly, which we found very reassuring. They handled the city permits, inspector visits and engineer reports. Scott took time to meet with our neighbour to ensure they had a full understanding of how the crew would protect their property. They also took care of setting up the piles for additional structures we planned to build after the foundation work was complete, which saved us a lot of time. Scott and his team were here every day, provided daily updates, and delivered exactly what they said they would do. We would recommend EC Foundation without hesitation.

I had 3 quotes for the work required on my garage foundation. EC Foundations was the middle cost of the 3 quotes so I went with the cheaper. Once excavated, that company explained that now that they knew what they were dealing with, the cost was going to be three times the price to get it fixed. I told them to fill in! I called Scott again and he provided a slightly revised quote (because it was now a year later) which included everything (permits, inspections, engineering reports, poured garage floor and final report for my records). The first company never provide any of this.The work was completed on time with now surprises. In fact, I asked Scott for a few minor changes/fixes and he agreed at no extra cost. The team was very professional and kept the work area very clean. I have already recommended EC Foundations to a neighbour and will happily continue to do so.

We hired EC Foundations to repair our foundation recently. Cracks were visible in the foundation and in the brick veneer. A test pit dug in one day and analysis of soil samples was conducted by engineers Morey Associates. Scott the owner explained what needed to be done and how long it would take. He took care of everything including dealing with the city for permits and with the consulting engineers regarding the needed repair. He also suggested how to proceed to get a large tree on my front lawn removed.This was a major project that required the excavation down to the footings across the entire front of the house, partway down the sides and inside the garage. It was gratifying to work with a group of knowledge workers. Everyone on the team knew their role every step of the way and helped move things along. There was no idle time with obvious collaboration among the workers. All our neighbours came by to comment how good these workers were, how clean their work was, how they were attentive to minimize disruption in the neighborhood.Communication from Scott and the crew about current status and what to expect next was excellent from beginning to end.The work was planned as a two-week project that was delivered on time and on budget. We are very pleased with the results and would recommend EC Foundations to anyone in need of foundation repair.

We engaged EC Foundations to waterproof our foundation (approx 100ft) - Scott (owner) and the crew were extremely professional. The project was completed on time and budget. I retained EC Foundations to repair my foundation after getting a number estimates from other contractors. EC Foundations did great work repairing the foundation in two places and completed the job all in one day. They were profesional, courteous, on time and on budget.
