Fairmont Le Château Frontenac

This was my dream come true stay!!Rooms are comfortable from the beds, sheets, quality of toiletries! Everything is well thought through!!I would stay again and again.The staff was wonderful, extremely accommodating. We traveled here 7 years ago but we left early due to fathers death. We were so impressed with your staff at that time helping us get back to Pa..We returned to visit this year, delayed by COVID, and we again were welcomed warmly and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay.Thank you for then and now allowing us to finish our memory.

I recently spent 4 nights at the Chateau Frontenac and it was a wonderful experience. It's a luxury hotel and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, and my room had a view of the St. Lawrence River. The concierge was very helpful before and during my stay; they made dinner reservations for me and made recommendations for sights to see and other restaurants to visit. Pretty much everything is within walking distance of the hotel, and the Funicular is just steps away for an easy trip to Petite Champlain (the lower city with lots of nice restaurants and shops). I highly recommend Le Chateau Frontenac!

Great place. The rooms we got were inward facing and didn't have a view of the spectacular sights of Quebec City, but they were clean. Everything worked fine and we were well stocked with coffee, etc. Could have used more complimentary water, but hey... we only had to ask. All in all, it was a great experience. The hotel is centrally located and a short walk from a variety of restaurants. We only needed to take our car out a couple of times during our 4 night stay. Self park and valet options available, we recommend the self park option. The hotel tour is a must do experience and so is the walking tour of the old city...

Decided to stay here for our trip to Quebec due to its history and central location within the Old City. Beautiful exterior and interior, great service, and clean rooms. Room service was delicious and definitely recommend getting the Bed and Breakfast package for a great selection of crepes, waffles, omelets, fresh fruit and pastries and much more. Our room was on the pricier side but was worth it for a gorgeous view of the river! Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing place to stay. Right in the heart of beautiful Old Quebec. The rooms are fantastic and the breakfast is amazing. We spent quite a bit of time catching the late afternoon sun by the pool, which we loved. Not cheap, but worth a night's stay for the experience.

The place is amazing. Our room however only had a very small window and we really hoped to have a better view. We traveled with our two kids and hoped to have queen beds not double beds but we adapted. Service was great.

5 stars and would give more stars if possible. Amazing hotel! The room was so comfortable. I slept so well. There were daily activities for kids and adults. There are so many restaurants, including Starbucks. We loved the museum-like halls with photos, art, and items from centuries ago in the basement. The pool is huge and warm. There is a whirlpool and another small pool. The terrace was beautiful. The whole hotel is gorgeous. Every employee was helpful and kind. It was very safe. The hotel staff that I spoke with spoke English and French. They have an artist. The artist when we were there was painting bright and flowy pictures that were mesmerizing. It was amazing to watch her paint. She was so kind and shared photos that inspired her work. The hotel is so beautiful inside and out. The hotel is huge so we could see it when wandering the beautiful streets. We never were lost because we could see the green topped hotel castle.

Besides the perfect location of the hotel and the beautiful building inside and out, Frontenac sets itself apart by its incredible service. The staff are on top of their game at all times and that's my biggest takeaway from my stay.I would really recommend getting Gold status to take advantage of the nice rooms and access to the lounge. It will make your visit at Quebec City a memorable one to say the least.
