Deep River Motel

Great staff/owners ...very accomodating. Clean and tidy rooms with a great tv pkg and the best prices in town. The snowmobile trail is 5 minutes right from the parking lot...Why stay anywhere else?

Rooms could use a good cleaning. Mattress and pillows are very hard. Not very pet friendly.

Roadtrip. 80$ per one night stay in June. Nice, clean and well maintained motel. Non- smoking. Rooms are large enough for two people. Beds and pillows are comfy. Cedar-plank wall adds a pleasant smell. Owners are very nice people, when coffee ran out in the morning, owner quickly brewed fresh one and personally brought two cups to our room. Little things like this definitely add to the value.

Very clean room. Room has been updated and is very nice. Service was very friendly. Appreciated the small fridge. Did not use microwave but was nice to have just in case. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip in.

-oo1 stars for this place! I’ve never had such a horrible experience! They were so rude and all their towels and sheets were stained and old. Had a musty smell in the rooms. AC kept going out. We paid extra to have our dog there and they complain the whole time. Told us to leave with our dog even though the week was paid for. Whatever you do. NEVER GO HERE!!!

I wished I read the comments first.We stopped there because our car broke down in deep River. it was the cheapest place on Google maps, but it wasn't worth it. With the fees and taxes and extra charges at the end of your stay, you are better off going to another, more comfortable, hotel/motel for the same price. The bed and pillows were so hard, the money" I thought I was saving by staying there wasn't worth it

Everything was generally very poor quality, but in particular, the bathroom. Only one switch for both the light and the ventilator - the light was extremely dim and would only get brighter after being left on for over half an hour straight. The ventilator was UNBELIEVABLY LOUD - it sounded like you were standing right next to an old, industrial grade fan (going to the bathroom wakes others in the middle of the night). It was also very damp, and turning on the air conditioning would have helped slightly, but then it would've been too cold because they only give you one thin linen sheet as a blanket under the patterned-blanket-layer thing that most motels/hotels don't wash often I think. Also found 2 wrappers in the corner next to a bed, which isn't s big deal but maybe this means they don't clean very thoroughly, who knows. I wouldn't have cared if the place was only like $50 bucks a night or something, but I definitely overpaid considering the poor state of the room.

Quiet, clean and very friendly and polite staff and owner. Stayed in a Queen room. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning was amazing. Pet friendly rooms so the fur baby could travel with us. Will definitely stay here again. Priced very reasonably and most importantly very clean. Would support this family business any time.

We stayed over Christmas and the owners couldn't have been kinder. I was there with my 87 year old mother and the owner made sure the steps in front of our room were salted and cleared after the bad weather. His wife came to help us assist my mother into the car. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. We were very comfortable. We would stay again.

The town of Deep River is a beautiful little town with wonderful parks and an enriched" history. This motel
