Finlay's East Beach Cafe
Came here for breakfast with my husband. It was a nice simple place for simple breakfast. No wait on a Sunday morning at 11 am. And not busy either. It's more like a cafe place serving breakfast options as well. Eggs were delicious and bread was nice. Order and pay at counter then you may seat yourselves.

The staff were caught off guard I think, I didn’t realize i went in right when they opened the door. I ordered a latte and coffee & they did their best to make them for me while they were doing the things they needed to do to get ready for the day. It was expensive here but also good. I love the photo wallpaper.

Finlay's East Beach Cafe
I went here a few times when it was called Watt's but now it is called Finlay's I guess. From my most recent visit I had the tuna sandwich which was good with a side of bacon. The sandwich was filling and the bacon was cooked perfect. Good food. Nothing spectacular. I feel like all of this can easily be made from home but none the less it is a good place to have a simple breakfast or sandwich

Finlay's East Beach Cafe
Very very mediocre food. Mexican and Greek wraps were basically the same except the “Mexican” wrap had salsa. Both were mildly warm. The “curry” chicken soup was chicken broth with bits of chicken and celery but no curry flavour. Chai latte was just sweet. Butter chicken was on the “Christmas” menu on the board but since it wasn’t Christmas, we couldn’t have it. Grateful that it’s open today but would not come back given the choice

Finlay's East Beach Cafe
On December 7, I was here and had a delicious soy latté and a breakfast wrap, which I enjoyed outside on the heated patio right across the road from the beach. This was the only breakfast place with a view of the ocean. Although it was a cloudy day, it was heavenly being there breathing in the salt air with my daughter (she loved her smoked salmon on a bagel with cream cheese) and my granddaughter. The staff were very quiet but polite and professional. I hope their business keeps going strong. I look forward to returning and highly recommend it!

It's a great veranda and the food tasted good on the first bite. Then I started to taste mold. I returned the turkey wrap, told the ladies, I am tasting mold in this sandwich""No!" Says one lady"Can't be!"says the other. They then ignored me and walked away"

Great place, beautiful view from the patio and a gorgeous cute beachy cafe on the inside. We ordered the minestrone soup & it came piping hot & fresh. Large filling portions with good service. Definitely a place to visit when you're along the beach.

Finlay's East Beach Cafe
Simple, little cafe with self service, and a good bite! You order at the counter and the food is brought to you. People staying at the hotel above it comes down for meals, which makes it somewhat international :) We had breakfast there, which was simple, but good and filling, and definitely enough to keep you going for the day! Would recommend it. Good spacing on patio with tables so it's comfortable and not cramped, and has outside heating. Also, scones are OK!

Me and my girlfriend went here for breakfast and for what I payed I’m baffled. I bought the weekend waffles for $8ish and all I was given two toasted eggo waffles. The cost of a box of eggos is $6 for 16 eggo waffles. I understand eating out is more expensive but that also comes with the expectation that I’ll get some kind of restaurant made food, not store bought waffles. That is ridiculous and you shouldn’t have to pay that kind of money for something so pathetic.
