KinderHaus Montessori

KinderHaus Montessori School is a lovely, peaceful, and joyful learning environment and workplace. My observations are based on my AMI training, many years of experience working in Montessori schools, and as a student, completing my ECE placement. The director, along with her staff, demonstrate genuine care for the children’s wholesome development in all the developmental domains. The director also recognizes the importance of family and building relationships. If you are looking for a school to enroll your young child in the Toddler or Casa Program, you found it! If you are a Montessori or ECE student, looking for a placement opportunity, you will learn and hope to work here one day. If you are a Registered Early Childhood Educator or Montessori guide, looking for a pleasing and healthy working environment, you will find this wonderful place to be that and even more!

I cannot even begin to tell you how magical KinderHaus Montessori is! Not only did my two children spend 3 years there and at the previous location but I also had the pleasure of teaching there too.It has the most calming energy that you could ever dream of where your child will not only feel safe and loved but it will give them the opportunity to spread their wings, flourish and grow to their full potential...mentally, physically and emotionally.Be sure to observe and check out the space so you can get a feel for it yourself. Kalpana is beyond passionate about Montessori and aims every day to guide and meet the needs of all the children in the space. You won't regret it and it will change your life for the better!

Our child started attending KinderHaus Montessori in 2021, when it first opened in the Lake Wilcox community and I could not be more grateful to have found this space (and we had personally toured 5+ schools and contacted 9). It was important for us to find a place with a holistic approach to teaching and learning, especially if our child was to spend the majority of her time away from our care. Right from the beginning, I could tell that everything in the school was done intentionally, with a sensitivity to child development, such as ensuring enough outdoor time in a beautiful green space, taking short field trips within the nearby community, embracing nature and natural sounds, and veering away from what is deemed as child-appropriate" in the modern sense of gimmicky toys

I wanted to take the time to share our experience with Kinderhaus Montessori. Our daughter has been attending Kinderhaus since she was barely 2.5 years old, she is now 4. Being my first child, and the first time I was entrusting someone else to watch, help raise and educate my daughter, I had done a lot of research. I had visited 10+ schools virtually and in person. I couldn't quite put my finger on it but no one school seemed to have it all. Eventually, I found Kinderhaus and everything fell into place for us. Kalpana, the owner of Kinderhaus called shortly after we had sent in an enquiry. I knew almost immediately that we had found the school for our daughter. Kalpana was warm and engaged. Her energy helped us know that our daughter was going to be in the right hands.Shortly after our call, we had arranged some time to meet in person and I knew that Kalpana wasn't just running a business. Kinderhaus has truly been a home away from home for our daughter. We know everyday that she goes in, she is met with love and care. We are so grateful for Kalpana, the teachers and the environment they have created. Not just for the children but also the parents. We are all welcomed and have become a family.
