Taylor is THE BEST! I have never felt comfortable really going into a barbershop before, and she has created such an inclusive safe space. I love coming to see her! The shop is so cute, and cozy. My hair always looks amazing, and she always makes me feel so comfortable. Couldn’t recommend her more!

Cultured Swine is a really great and inclusive barbershop. Taylor is absolutely fantastic and creates a safe environment for trans+ folks and LGBTQ+ people more broadly. And if you're lucky, her dog Hambone might even be there and looking for some love.

The shop was cute and reminded me of the tiny apartments! The owner was a craftsman. I barely felt the clippers on my scalp when he was working, which was different from other barbers I visited. We had a nice chat about the profession which was very interesting

Great haircut, joel is a swell guy. I’m used to getting my hair cut by aunties, but Joel’s gentle touch and gifted scissor skills made me feel right at home. He also has a firm handshake, which is really cool. Cheers.

I initially heard about this shop through a friend and again after asking a stranger where they had gotten their hair cut. So I gave it a go. Taylor was very friendly and welcoming. She gave me a great cut (thanks Taylor!). I was in and out of there in good time and we had a pleasant conversation to top it off. Cool little shop. Definitely recommend.

This shop was recommended to me through my trans circles. I can confirm, non binary and queer friendly!We’ve seen Taylor and Gabe. They’ve both done a great job and are really knowledgeable.The booking system works great and is the real reason we switched barbers. Very happy we did.

Despite coming to Taylor with only a vague idea of what I wanted for a haircut (medium length mens cut), she did an amazing job asking questions to get a better idea of what I wanted and also gave me a great cut. I've gone to a few other barbers in town and this is by far the best experience I've had. It's nice walking away from a barber with a cut i liked right away, instead of thinking well

Was in need of a last minute cut and shave, this place was recommended to me and wow! Amazing service, cutest little place-and super affordable prices! I went to Joel, he was very kind and did not scold me for previously doing my own hair (it was quite uneven beforehand) & fixed it up super nice! No fuss, affordable, and LGBTQ+ friendly! I felt super comfortable and will definitely be returning next time I need a shave & trim!

I always have a marvelous experience here! Taylor is so kind and easy to talk to. I can come in with embarrassing reference photos or vague ideas; she never judges and always manages to make my hair look cool. It's a very safe and inclusive space, and a good spot for people watching too!
