Nokoraya Restaurant
This was a very nice place before. Not sure what changed in the administration or chef, but the last time, on a plate of 80 all the centers of the Futomaki were not chunks of fish but rather a mix of mashed elements. Tasting all pretty much the same from one to the other. The quality seems to have degraded within the last 2-3 years.

Not wild about sushi . Now I know why, because I never had sushi as fantastic as here. It was my father's 94 birthday and he love sushi so that is how I ended up here . There are many choices of meals, not only sushi. My husband and I had a chicken dish that was incredible . The place was packed and I can see why. Not only is the food terrific , but it is a BYOB. Normally when you can bring your own wine, the restaurants make the food more expensive. Not here, we were stunned at how reasonable it was. Will definitely make this place a weekly affair.

Returned here a couple of days ago during the Covid-19 pandemic and the system they have in place is impeccable. There is no personal contact whatsoever and the entire process is very well-thought out. The food was still clean, fresh and generous with the extras, like ginger and wasabi. I gave it 5 stars now, well deserved. Great people, great food!Tried this for the first time tonight, and I have to say, it was clean, fresh and very tasty. I used to own a sushi bar and I think I have an educated opinion in this matter. For a small, mid-range Asian fusion restaurant, this is all you can wish for, fresh, clean and appropriately priced for the quality. Great find, and will definitely return, as it looks it's run by good people.

One of my all time favorite restaurants! The quality of the food + service is impeccable, while the cozy ambiance makes you want to just hang out and enjoy some green tea long after your plate has been cleared. The sushi is second to none and very affordable but there are lots of other fine dishes to choose from for those who want something else. Highly recommended to everyone, 5 stars.

North Korea is a bring your own Asian restaurant where you bring your own wine or beer. It's usually very busy since the food is very good and the pricing is very reasonable. It has a bunch of different types of Asian style food basically background being Vietnamese Cambodian style but they also added sushi. Family-run business originally with the generations running is grandmother mother daughter and there was a son there as well at some point. The food is good and the prices are decent and you're lucky to get a place inside there Friday night and Saturday night. often very busy and it's most enjoyable and it's a better choice for people stuck out in Hudson St Lazare Quebec who don't have much choice.

The service is always so friendly and accommodating. Twice I have ask for what I believe to be a complicated order ( allergies, preferences of fish and level of spice) and I always So happy with the outcome. The sushi is fresh great portions and always on time!

FIRST AND LAST TIME CUSTOMER. When I called to pick up my order no one answered. So I went inside and was yelled at by a staff member. Back outside I asked the staff member about my order and I was insulted and yelled at again. I was told that annoying people are going to wait. I went back inside to try to explain that it was my first time ordering here and that I didnt know what to do and tried to apologize. I was yelled at, insulted and told to go outside. My order came 30 mins later. I payed for my food in advance and gave a good tip to support local business. I feel robbed they will never have my or my friends/ family support again !

The sushi is really good and we've also enjoyed the Bibimbap and Kuytiew Cha very much! We've already returned twice and it hasn't disappointed! Everything tastes super fresh and delicious.
