Cheaper than all those vets out there charging exorbitant prices for meds. Businesses like these in Canada should be encouraged to lower the prices of drugs made for animals.

Very unprofessional. I called in advance for a medication and MADE SURE NO PRESCRIPTION WAS REQUIRED before I came and when I made the trip all the way from Mississauga the pharmacist tells me I need one. They didn't even apologize for their mistake and instead blamed it on a new" assistant. Disrespectful people work here don't trust them for your pet's needs

Had called four days in advance to order a prescription. Went in to pick it up and it was not ready and the compounding pharmacist was not in that day. The next day I received a call to let me know it would be ready in the evening. There was no real apology - just a comment regarding that staffing was difficult during the pandemic. I don’t mind if things take a while, but a simple call to let me know it was going to be late would have been nice. It would have saved me a trip to the pharmacy. Further - it is important that people get their medicine on time as there is a reason they take it. One day late may be a huge health concern for some.

Best experience. Very accommodating. The personalized service and care exceeds my past experiences at my former pharmacy. I would strongly recommend Canada Chemist.

Great place to pick up OTC meds for CKD cats. Much much much cheaper than at the vets. Ali is so helpful on the phone and will order something in if you need it. The compound specialist can customize the pet meds so they are easier to administer.Update April 2021, the pharmacy made a custom made appetite stimulant using mirtazapine that I can apply on my cats ear instead of making him swallow a pill. This is genius and works amazing and for cats with nausea this is perfect. The hardest part is getting your vet to agree to write the rx out instead of the vet supplying this medicine. You need to explain your best interest is for your pet and offer some referral fee to your vet for getting the rx somewhere else. Besides, my cat has four different vets and none of them were able to provide a transdermal mirtazapine that only Canada Chemists could provide. My vet did not want a fee, but his other vet normally charges 25 bucks to get a written rx. Well worth it.Also can buy subq fluids, azodyl, phosphate binders here without a rx. This place is a secret gem.

Best place!! They make you feel very safe and welcomed. It feels like home. I called and my prescription was already ready for me. They do things well and you could tell that right away. Big place and you can find everything that you are looking for well.Keep up the great work!

I am from Laval, Quebec & I purchase my cat Solly's meds from PETS DRUG MART (Amazing service!) Let me say a few words about Amin Remtulla from Canada Chemists. At the beginning when I began with Pets Drug Mart, I contacted Amin many times regarding one of Solly's medications and how he was not a happy cat when I had to administer it to him. Amin told me about a compound option he would make for Solly in liquid form so that it would be easier for Solly. Amin is kind, so incredibly patient, always so polite and caring. He senses my anxiety immediately and reassures me. I am beyond grateful for Amin's in-depth knowledge, his professionalism and his calm demeanor. Knowing that a qualified and experienced chemist is providing me with the information I require for Solly is definitely reassuring. Thank you Amin for all your help!

Thank you so much for a great service , Amin helped us and my dog that suffers from epilepsy through a number of factors, our dogs medication was delayed (not by Canada Chemists) Amin issued a special package of medication that I was able to pick up this morning to save my dog running out of his meds. We are so grateful what a great service I drove from Waterloo to collect the meds it was a life saver for my best friend Freddie. I wish I could have shook his hand.

Did a Covid test through DM6 Labs at this location. Amazing experience - highly recommend. DM6 labs made it super easy to make an appointment and process payment and the Pharmacy was fantastic. Highly recommend.
