Honestly this was such an awesome course! I have wanted to do a Remote First Aid course for awhile and Ridge WIlderness did an amazing job. Our Instructor, Shaun, is one of the best I have had. We were never bored and he always kept us engaged. I love that we did so many scenarios that were practical for any outdoor experience. I highly recommend not only do a Remote First Aid course if you love the outdoors, but also do it with Ridge Wilderness. I would definitely do another course with them in the future.

It’s always been a pleasure interacting with Ridge Wilderness. My daughter attended a few summer camps organized by Ridge this summer and she absolutely loved it. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they do care about the kids. The rental guide at Stave Lake is also very helpful - we had a lovely day. I myself attended a first-aid training facilitated by Ridge and the experience was wonderful as well. I highly recommend this company.

Great WFA course with Ridge Wilderness for our team! Our instructor Shaun was very knowledgable and made learning fun with hands on scenarios, stories from the field and a great sense of humour. Highly recommend this course for everyone who likes to spend time in the backcountry!

Ridge is the best!! Just finished the 40 hour WFA course through VOCO with them and had a blast. The instructors were super nice, funny and dedicated and the course was super thorough and well taught. Stoked to do the 80 with them next!

First aid has always intimidated me, so I'd like to thank the staff members I interacted with at Ridge Wilderness for making the entire journey a pleasant experience. From calling to ask for advice on enrolment, to completing the course with our instructor Walker and my fellow classmates, every part felt positive and valuable. I would highly recommend Ridge Wilderness for first aid training especially for those looking for a learning environment that can support your learning needs. Merci!

Instructor and course content were great. Very well organized and presented. Was a challenging course for me as I didn't have any prior first aid training but I learnt so much and am very glad I attended. I feel much better now about my ability to respond to a situation when out hiking.

We really enjoyed the manner in which this course is presented. The course was taught outdoors with an obvious emphasis on performing first aid in a remote, resource scarce environment. The instructors were enthusiastic and brought significant back country and SAR experience to their instruction. I recommend you consider Ridge Wilderness if you're looking for a Remote or Wilderness First Aid course.

Great location, good pace of learning, good reinforcement exercises of the key aspects. By the end everyone was competent and confident. The 20 hours flew by because the instructor was lively, well spoken, casual and entertaining. Thanks

Frank G our instructor was fantastic! Learned a ton in a very fun and engaging manner. Had lots of practical experience. Walk out very confident in your theory and ability that in case anything happens you are very well equip to give someone the best chance.

I have done many first aid courses during my time in scouting. The one taught by Ridge was by far the most relevant and well taught. I highly recommend their course to anyone who adventures in the great outdoors.
