Good place for engagement rings though if you need bigger/larger sizes , they will need to special order it and that takes time (from a week to a few weeks depending on the type of ring)

Extremely unprofessional staff. I went in the store with my son today looking for a ring for his girlfriend. One lady was on the phone yelling at someone about getting the police after them(very disturbing)…another staff member/lady sitting by the counter drinking her Tim Hortons and on her phone. The third member had zero interest in helping us, showed us one ring…we asked if they had silver rings she said NO yet the ring she showed us was silver?!?! She put the ring back and walked away…we left because the atmosphere was horrible, why drop hundreds or more and be ignored?Three ladies working and not one cared to help out a customer…thankfully Pandora across the way were more than happy to assist us.I rarely write bad reviews… wish I could give them a big fat ZERO

I always buy from people’s jewellery, and they are very welcoming!This time was assisted by a very nice lady named Salma she was extremely understanding of what I wanted, she made my experience very memorable! Thank you very much Salma!

I had a bad experience in sizing my diamond wedding ring with the company and as an angry and disappointed customer I felt so so valued, supported and protected by the amazing store Manager in Cookstown location, Alison. She was taking care of me and giving me the update of my ring status constantly. She exceeded the customer service support in her behavior and follow ups with their workshop. Human errors happens with everyone snd every companies but managing the situation is a great skill that Alison has. She is an asset to this company and I am happy to see People’s stores care about the customer experience by choosing these competent and strong managers like Alison. I wish her the best in her career as she deserve the best.

My 84 year old Mother got my daughter to take her out Christmas shopping to purchase something beautiful for her daughter (myself). She is in a wheelchair and on oxygen and needs support. She purchased a diamond bracelet (tennis bracelet) approximately 1700.00 dollars 2 carrot in total. My mother asked for a safety lock to be put on it. The people staff said no it did not need one it was a good latch on it. My Mother wanted one on it like she had on hers. The lady at peoples said no she does not need it. My mother gave it to me 2 hours later it was gone. We naturally thought it was not on correctly. We searched for it until 1am. We found it and put it on a little better. 2 weeks later it was gone again. We cannot find it. We called people with absolutely no help they really could not care. If the latch was as good as they said it was Obviously defective. People could not care! They said you should have purchased insurance. Unbelievable!! Do not believe peoples when they say there latches work. They don’t! They are garbage! I have cheaper jewelry like my bracelet life line on a clip for 2 years and never lost it! It they back there produce up so much they should have offered something. They just said sorry. I feel so bad for my mother who wanted me to have something nice to remember her with. Now all she says is sorry, it was a good one. It was not cheap I promise. I feel bad for her and anxious because she tried so hard to get out and organize every step of the outing to just get a present that she would be remembered with. When asked for a lock was told NO! PEOPLES will be a jewelry store we will remember to never go to again. When the memory should have been about the effort and time and money My Mother tried to make special. They could have offered some support!!

I went to People's Jewellers today in cookstown. My wedding ring one of the stones had come off. I had such a great experience with the manager Allison and associate Natalia. They were so professional and had great customers service. I would for sure go to this location for any of future purchases and ring cleaning

I have personally had the best experience shopping at peoples. I recently got engaged and had some issues with my ring after resizing. I was very upset but the staff and management where very professional showed amazing customer service and went above and beyond to have my ring fixed to my satisfaction. I was very impressed by how they handled everything and in a timely manner. At the end of the day I love my ring more then the day I got it. I highly recommend shopping at people in cookstown outlet. I cant thank the staff enough.

People's Jewellers has had my diamond rings for 4 1/2 months for a repair! They stated 3 weeks. I get weekly calls from corporate to say that they are looking for a bagget to replace my chipped stone. They refuse to send my engagement ring back because it is on the same repair receipt as the wedding band. Offered $150 gift card for my inconvenience. No sign of getting my rings back anytime soon! Not acceptable!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! My husband bought me a bracelet for christmas and we needed four of the links to be taken out. It has been at the store for over 2 months now, they messed up the paper work and the bracelet was brought back without the repair being done. I have been told for two weeks that it was going to be ready by the end of the week and it is still not done! I have had rings sized at another location in less time then it has taken them to repair my bracelet!
