Friendly and professional staff. Always timely deliveries and excellent communication. The drivers picking up have all shown very competent driving skills and they have been helpful with loading/unloading and making sure the documents are in order before they leave with the shipment. I am shipping with Vankam, solely from Canada to USA, there is no room for error on these shipments and thus far we have an excellent track record. I have dispatchers calling me daily to provide quoting for our business and none of them can offer what vankam provides to us, which is experience, safety, and piece of mind that my shipments will be picked up and delivered on time, every time.

The service that Van-Kam provides is the worse that i've ever encountered from a transport company. You have dispatch blaming customer service and customer service blaming dispatch. They never pick up or have availability for the fleet that was requested. They don't even have the respect to call to let you know that they are not able to pick up your freight. The most unreliable service!!! It really doesn't deserve a star.04.20.2023 still service for this company hasn't changed. Casey Henry what's going on? Van Kam doesn't have the courtesy to call the customer to let them know that they aren't able to pick up freight even after you get a booking number. Marina from dispatch says it's not their job to call the customer. Either they have the equipment or they don't. So you can wait and see if we're coming or not.....WOW!

Excellent customer service experience!! We had a package that we needed to be delivered urgently but was delayed. The delay was not caused by Van-Kam. I contacted Ashleigh and explained our situation and how urgently we needed the package. Ashleigh replied back within minutes to let us know where it was and that we could go and pick the package up instead of waiting for it to be delivered. The responsiveness was very much appreciated and really got us out of a bind. The service she provided was second to none. Can't say enough good things about how we were treated and how Ashleigh saved the day for us!! Thank you very much.

Not sure if they are severely understaffed, making them also under trained, or maybe they just don't care. But the Surrey terminal is the absolute worst VanKam terminal to deal with. I use the company frequently to ship all across western Canada. I refuse to use them for shipping in the Vancouver area.

They charged me 800 dollars to ship 2 pallets of tools from Kelowna to Edmonton. During shipping my tool bag “ magically “ went missing at one of their terminals and now it’s somehow no where to be found. There goes a 1000 dollars in tools . Honestly what a total rip off . Add in the fact there was no office staff to help me at 4:00 pm on Friday when they’re supposed to be open until 4:30. I had to help shrink wrap my order as well because you have to do everything here. After I shipped the order it was both in transit but delivered at the same time. No emails or calls to notify you when you can pick up your order .They will never call or contact you unless they want money from You. THATS THE ONLY TIME YOURE IMPORTANT TO THEM. If you’re a little guy like myself do not ship with these guys they do not care you’re just an easy rip off for them .

This is a good place for shipping freight from, after several calls to competitors who all had outrageous rates, they immediately quoted a fair and reasonable rate.It would be 5 stars except that the customer service was poor.I arrived to join a group of others obviously waiting outside the customer service office while many employees working in the warehouse note we are all waiting. When I asked those ahead of me if they have been helped, one said no

Absolutely the most frustrating experience I've ever had shipping freight. This is my very first bad online review that's how awful I believe the service to be. I was shipping 2 pieces from surrey to nanaimo and after 1 week of it finally 'arriving' at the nanaimo docks via confirmation phone call I planned my out of town trip to retrieve the cargo inclusive of a vehicle rental and a day taken off work. I called again right before going to confirm pick up and when I arrived it was not there! After calling head office (most people on the phone were nice enough) I was assured it would be delivered to my home address 2 days later. It has now been 6 days (just about 2 weeks total of frustrations so far) and I still have not received anything after many phone calls. I was promised the Campbell river office would call me and nothing! I have had to be the one calling everytime after being told someone would be appointed to me to oversee the delivery. I'm out of business income and time wasted because of the lack of service from this company. I've been told I'll receive it 'tomorrow' over and over again! I'm extremely disappointed no compensation has even been offered.

Cannot say enough good things about this company! Professional, diligent, good transit times and rates, and a great, user-friendly website. The company I work for uses them almost every day. I can't recall a time that a shipments was lost or misrouted. Particularly enjoy working with Ashleigh in Customer Service and Sara in Sales but all their office staff and drivers are fantastic. Highly recommend for all your domestic shipping needs!
