Terrible store. A complete rip off for a store which sells second hand consignment. Recommend not to go to this store especially if you are new at selling your never used branded clothes

PROSI was pleased that the clothes were much more up-to-date compared to other second-hand stores like Value Village. That made it easier to find nice pieces of clothing. Also, there was no limit for how many items you can try on in the fitting rooms, so that was nice. Lastly, there were a lot of items on clearance, all for $2 each! However, most items were either too small or poorly made.CONSI was disappointed with the brand options. There were MANY fast fashion items, e.g., from H&M and Shien, that were made of cheap and unpleasant materials like polyester. The selection was somewhat limited for my size (L), but I did manage to buy several items that I really liked. I was also disappointed to see that most of the store was organized by size and item type and not by brand. There was only one wrack with clothes from Aritzia (yet I saw Aritzia items scattered throughout the store as well).CONCLUSIONIt's still better than Value Village, in my opinion. I would go again, but I'd like to try other locations.

The main issue I have with this location is the level of cattiness of the staff. I went in this evening (Jan 21 at around 5pm). Not only do the staff not greet you, but they do not know how to use their words when they need to get by. One staff member bumped into my boyfriends back, with a handful of clothes, and stepped on his ankle twice when we were trying to move out of her way (even though she couldn’t manage to say excuse me). This was while we apologized multiple times for being in her way. Then, when I told a worker that they had priced a pair of NWT TNA leggings at $25 (while the retail price was $25), two other staff members at cash gave each other a look. I was merely trying to be helpful, and keep in mind I wasn’t complaining… literally just being courteous so they would know. :)Ultimately really disappointed as this was my first time at this location, and I wont be back because of the staff. Shoutout to the one worker at cash (who also grabbed me a change room while two other workers ignored me) with the septum.. you were the only pleasant part of my experience :)

The Mississauga location is great for primarily cute dressy tops and has a massive selection of pants, jeans, dresses, and shorts. I noticed they don't have a considerable amount of Aritzia brands and more Zara apparel although they always have an Aritzia sale now and then so don't hesitate to check it out, it just might be your lucky day and the finds are always great.

Worse store ever. Got here today @3pm to drop off some used items and being told items can be picked up in an hour after receiving the message. I was waiting for the text msg all the time and nothing came. After I returned to store more than an hour after, the guy told me they didn’t accept anything from me. The most important thing is that NO ONE EVER TOLD ME my items are ready for pickup. Totally waste of time, should’ve at least contact me to come pick up my stuff. Won’t come anymore.

Worst Plato’s closet in the GTA in my opinion! A few friends and I decided to have a thrifting day and stopped by at Plato’s Closet Vaughn, Brampton and finally Mississauga. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the WORST for last. This location is very different from its counterparts in the worst way possible. Employees are unfriendly and can’t be bothered, everything is unorganized and poorly displayed in comparison to other Plato’s stores and worst of all the pricing! Please refer to the two pictures I attached. Something that still had the original price tag of $19.99 was priced for $35 at this Plato’s?! What? I’m paying $15 MORE at a second hand store than if I were to buy it brand new retail? You guys do realize you’re a thrift store right? The second picture was an Adidas hoodie that had the crumpled original price tag on it of $34.99 but had gross yellow stains all over the arm. It was priced at the exact same retail price for $35 WITH the damage. Just go to the adidas store or winners and get it brand new without the damaged for the same price. Who is pricing these things at this location? What a joke! At other locations the Aritzia items are organized by size on turning racks. Here they are all thrown in one long line on a rack in the back all out of order with all the sizes mixed up. Also poor selection too when we went today. Beyond disappointed with this location and we will not be returning. We’ll stick to the Plato’s Brampton and Plato’s Vaughn.

DO NOT GO HERE! Staff are rude. Terrible customer service skills. Went to this location the other day and brought a bin filled with brand name clothes, including new TNA leggings, nike, calvin klein, shein, hot miami styles. There was a rude employee who was Filipino with huge lashes and acne who was already rude the moment i walked in didn’t even say hi or made eye contact. Just told me it would be about 20 minutes and to sign the paper. I come back and my bin is completely full & she tells me “sorry we’re not accepting any of your items today they are all worn out” ??? , the TNA leggings looked brand new? & it’s funny because as i was browsing i saw the exact same pair hanging on the racks.i purposefully brought brand name things i know would sell, so the girl was probably just hating. i feel like they don’t like when other girls their age come in because their jealous or think we’ll take all the nice stuff. don’t recommend this location. bring your clothes elsewhere. Also everytime i come in the employees are snarky, unwelcoming & rude. whenever i clearly stand infront of them waiting for a change room the people at the change room never ask me how many items i have they all ignore me. so i just walk in myself.i feel like the girls here are always just hating, there’s no other reason to be this rude for no reason lol do better.

Used to have great experiences (both buying and selling) here, but I can agree with the comments about the decline of this store.Buying: many items are in poor condition, with stains and rips, and priced highly because of the brand name. Not worth your time at all.Selling: I understand that the purpose is to buy items that are trendy and suitable for teens/early 20s. But I have brought in items that are better than what is in store, only to be offered ridiculously low prices for high quality items. I genuinely question the decision making of those who are sorting and pricing these items.

I've been coming here for a while! As a shopper, the prices are higher than thrift but better deals than new, curated, and sometimes you find gems :)Now as a seller....lol. Went through my basket in like 10 minutes and took nothing due to wear" and "older styles". Same brands and better condition than some things on the racks

I understand the difficulties of working a retail job, but that's no excuse for the rude employee I interacted with today around 2pm. I asked for some clarification on an item without a tag, to which she said she couldn't check, then proceeded to walk away when I headed to the cash. I waited for 15 minutes with at least 5 people on staff. The same person walked up to the cash again and then walked away, completely ignoring me. I'm so frustrated by this experience and will absolutely not be returning. Train your staff better. Big shout out to the non-binary presenting individual with the septum piercing. You were very helpful and nice when it appeared your other coworkers were more concerned with talking to one another than helping the line of customers that were no doubt frustrated by the improper delegation. I'd give it 0 stars if I could, and it's a real shame. I used to love this place.
