Beauty Rink (new side) classic rink (old side) albeit the rooms are dmall and there's ALWAYS a shower out of order, not to mention they could likely do-away with the car wash style rubber sheets in said showers lolOther than that , good barn, always clean and the new side is the nicest junior arena in the league.Seats are mint.Lots of parking.Kids have an awesome play area for minis. And I've even got a massage while watching my kids play.Plus...a fantastic pro shop for bulldogs swag.

Great professional ice rink & skate sharpening, heated bleachers.. For big games and wheel chairs an upstairs heated room available to watch the game, also a snack & food kitchen open for all major games such as the Wranglers.December 13 2021Just an update on the new rink and soon to open library. I am so impressed by how big city professional this new arena is, all modern seats with cup holders VIP area really nice definitely anyone paying to sit there Will feel as special as they should, there own VIP washrooms with real toilet paper, nice hand soap and hand cream.Because everything is new and with Covid causing some delays in contractors getting materials on time there is still some work to be finished and an elevator waiting on inspection to open it up to the public (side note I don't know what's taking these inspectors so long to get in and get a quick and easy inspection done but someone should light a fire under there buts if they haven't already, it doesn't take 3 weeks for goodness sakes) okay now that I had my little rant on that, the concession for the new arena is open but not at full capacity yet as not everything is completed in the kitchen by the contractors that are working hard to get everything completed with the delays in product mentioned that they have no control over, however people can still go to the other side of the old arena were the concession has everything, it's just a quick walk through the hallway between both rinks. The Bulldogs have there own high tequ equipment like spot lights sound system that the town built into that whole area (room) just for that. And with the Bull Dog games alcohol is for sale and anywhere in the new arena you can drink. The library is very impressive that I got to walk through yesterday for the first time, still much to do but if all goes well they are hoping to be open December 20'th. I'm looking forward to the summer when I can sit on there new outdoor balcony area on the second floor to sit in the sun and relax.Soon to come will be pictures of everything that's completed so far.On a side note the one area for extra parking will be completed I am assuming next spring/summer if all goes well and when that's complete there should be very little problems with finding parking spaces.I hope this review has helped with those wondering about the new arena/library and everything that goes with that.Stay tuned for pictures and more updates as they are available. The pictures are now up but keep in mind that some things will look better once the finishing touches are done. There is also a gym for players to work out in and soon to come a practice rink. The Bull Dogs have there own gift shop which is set up really nice and I was surprised at the variety and nice products for sale, also in the pictures I posted. It looks like someone else finally posted some pictures which I am glad to see.During the game the upper seats just below the VIP area, curtains are closed to give viewers in this area a more comfortable feel.

The new arena is huge for blackfalls but absolutely beautiful!!! Haven't been here since they renovated it but its gorgeous!!! Only thing is I was disappointed as they had a sign stating that the concession was open upstairs, but in between periods I walked over, and there definitely wasn't anything open. Just wish I could've had a coffee or something and didn't want to miss the game.

This is a fantastic arena for hockey. Took my family there for their 1st AJHL game and everyone really enjoyed themselves and we were entertained by a great game that went into a shootout. It is very family affordable and the concessions are also very affordable. Looking forward to pur next experience.

Great facility. Blackfalds Bulldogs is great hockey. But man oh man is that ever a cold arena. Need to turn up the heat a little.

Attended the Bulldogs vs Drayton Valley game on December 16, 2022.Positive: The building was extremely clean, new and the sidewalks cleared and safe, even after a snowfall.Negatives: The line for game tickets was long, and extremely slow. The line stretched out the door even through there shouldve been ample room for the line to be inside the building in the other direction.Having been in many arenas, one of the most striking things about Eagle Builders Centre is the incline of the seats... its almost intimidating. When I attend an event in a small town, one of the charms is getting to know the fans around me... its impossible in the seating area here because the fans in front and behind you are either down by your feet or their feet are almost at your shoulders. This rink isnt conducive to a small town community atmosphere.Concessions were rather slow and poorly thought out. And when your order is ready, they call out your name... but its impossible to hear anything... which brings us to the acoustics...Acoustics are something Ive never experienced before... it's loud, echoy and almost unpleasant on the ears. The public address was extremely difficult to understand and the rink announcer yelled almost all the time, and again... impossible to understand.I did like the mini-stick rink for the kids... lighting was great. Video board was very well done. But there are many things about the Eagle Builders Arena that just made for a mediocre experience for my first time there.
