Bare Wax Bar (Westdale)

I love this place. It's clean and the staff are professional. Great decor. Welcoming vibe. The waxing is comfortable and I love when I leave there my face isn't red and irritated looking. Been coming to Bare for years and will definitely continue!

I really enjoy coming here. The staff are friendly and helpful. I had two different staff members talk to me about my skin and waxing recovery as I have pretty sensitive skin. They asked questions, listened and were genuine in their recommendations. Not to mention waxing can be a vulnerable and uncomfortable experience they make it as quick and painless as possible and do a great job of distracting you through it.

This is the best place in Hamilton to get waxed! Very clean environment and friendly staff. Josie is my go to for a Brazilian, she is so nice and gets the job done quickly and as pain free as possible! Highly recommend bare wax bar!

Genuinely the worst waxing experience I've ever had. I got a basic face wax (which I've gotten several times before at other places, no problems), and she literally ripped my entire skin off, went in like 5 times after it was clearly irritated from the very first time. Absolutely horrible and I wish I could tell you her name.

Seems like they stopped caring about the quality of services provided. I’ve been going here for quite some time and recently the services have been subpar. The last two times they waxed too much of my eyebrow but yet left many hairs unwaxed or tweezed under my eyebrow. I’ve also felt more rushed the past few appointments. They should always check the placement of their wax before just waxing but it seems like only one person truly cares enough to take their time and do that here (unfortunately I forget her name).

Christine was great! I got my brow and lip waxed. In 30 weeks pregnant so it's hard to lay down. She propped up the table so I was elevated but she could still do her work. The waxing process is great, I'm prone to breakouts and find the waxing IA less irritating when i come here. Definitely recommend!

Went about a week ago to get a bottoms up for a V and ELA was my aesthetician during the time and wow! She is incredible!! Loved her vibe from the minute she introduced herself, she has a special way of making you feel completely comfortable in an uncomfortable situation and honestly eased my nerves super quickly since it’s been a while for me to do any type of professional waxing service. We chatted, laughed and she sung a bit to songs while working her magic and gave me little tips and tricks along the service when she saw scares or ingrown hairs and honestly the best waxing service I’ve gone to!! Already booked my next appointment with her and you won’t be disappointed if you do the same that’s a promise!

When I was called into receive my service, they were punctual and started right on time.Mia is such a skilled aesthetician. My service was painless. When I asked questions throughout my appointment, she was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer questions personalized to my health and hair growth.10/10 - would recommend coming here!
