I buy gas here because it's close to home, but today I had a minor issue and had to go instead of just paying at the pump and leaving.Dean was not just super friendly, but also very helpful. The gas station is a gas station but Dean is superb employee.

A great team of staff work here. Always personable and friendly - they recognize you when you come in and treat you like an old friend.The place is clean and organized. Only problem is they need to keep up better with checking expiration dates on food products. I've gone in and found products very far past their expiration dates. I always point them out to the staff and they remove them immediately, but they shouldn't be on the sales floor any more in the first place.If you need gas, a quick snack or forgot to buy milk and now all the other shops are closed then this is your Shell - just remember to check the dates!!

Heard gas prices were jumping by 12 cents a litre at some stations. Called first thing in morning to see if this location had & the snippy rude lady who said she was the manager would not tell me. Said I had to drive there to find out. This after snowfall making roads difficult. Called nearby Petro Can in Fairfield & very friendly fellow told me price right away & said he looked forward to seeing me. Shell on Yates has no customer service. Used to go there a lot. No longer. Petro Can gets my business now.

I have relied on this Shell station and its small grocery for over a decade, and Iv never seen such an unreliable location, due to opening hours and the disregard for accountability of opening hour signage. The opening states 6:00am, and thats exactly when the employee or manager should unlock and turn on the pumps, and open the main counter service.A long time evening employee is a stand up guy, I think his name is Dean and he's been a pleasure to deal with every time I have encountered him. But please hold the morning staff accountable because its poor business practice.

Always come to this particular location to fill up my truck. $90 each time every 2 weeks. Today I just need a little air for my tires they still want to charge me!! Well, no more business with you shell!!! I’ll go fill up somewhere else from now on!

I respect businesses that show true appreciation for me as a customer. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. I go where I am celebrated .. not tolerated when served and the guys here are great. Awesome touch less car wash! Always very pleased with the results when going through with my black truck. Highly recommended!

As I live in the area I go to this location frequently, been going there for years. Seriously the best staff ever, always super friendly and kind. Always leave with a smile on my face because of the top notch customer service.

I deliver for people and use this gas station because of the selection, I've been Treated very poorly by a younger middle Eastern fellow many times now, always being kind and holding my breath, he is always throwing items into the after hours lock box without care, presents everything you ask for is a problem, other then that Dean is a wonderful fellow and deserves a raise, and I thank him for his kindness.

Friendly staff. Great car wash. Good gas too.People expecting “free air” should take a deep breath and move on. Commercial compressors aren’t cheap and require regular maintenance, just like your car and/or your bike.Also bare in mind there are only two gas stations in the city of Victoria both sit on very valuable land so be kind and support them. You can’t buy gas at a condo building.

I have mixed feelings about this Shell gas station. Shell should be a quality station, and everything was fine. But but butt… I went for car wash offer buy one and get 50% on second carwash. It was my first time, and i asked the store seller and automatically, he gave me the most expensive wash rather than asking me which one i wanted. Okay, if he gave the most expensive wash, he did not offer me the free coffee which was written on the poster. This is bad. Inside the car wash, light was going from top to bottom, and if i took the most expensive option, it should have have gone to all wash points but it did not do the last three points and light started turned green for me to move out. My car was also not dried completely, as it if was under a drizzle. Why wasn’t the car completely dried with the drier? It was overall okay but nothing special and definitely not happy with the drier. And expensive too. In other countries, I paid 4-6 $ for touchless carwash. Here 13.99 $ ? Wow!!
