Our sliding glass door was showing fogging and condensation, so we knew the seal had failed. We called Glass Doctor and they were out within a week. The estimator was very friendly and professional. He took the measurements and gave us an estimate. We agreed and the glass was ordered. It took a couple of weeks for the glass to arrive. The main office was very good about keeping me up-to-date on the status of our replacement glass. They notified me once it had arrived and set up an installation appointment within a couple of days. The installer called me when he was about 10 minutes out and he arrived on time. He very quickly replaced the glass and in doing so noted that there was a complete failure of the existing glass - a full delamination, I think it was called. The seal was completely gone. He replaced the glass, explaining how the new seal worked and showing me all the steps as he performed them. When it was installed he completely cleaned the new glass, getting all the adhesive residue off. He opened and closed the door and checked that all was secure. He was able to take my payment with his tablet right there and I was emailed a receipt. He was wonderful - friendly, knowledgeable, professional and pleasant to work with. The area was clean and there was no damage to anything on my property. He took the old glass away, too. This was my first experience with glass repair or replacement and it was an excellent one. I would absolutely recommend Glass Doctor if you have some glass needs and they will be who I return to should I need anything else glass-related. Additionally, we just purchased our house in December and during our inspection a regular sliding window had also lost its seal and the previous owner replaced it, leaving us a receipt of the work. It was a different company and for a single pane replacement on a glass window, the price was about $100 less than what it cost us to get an entire sliding glass door pane replaced with Glass Doctor. So, I would have to say that their prices are very good. Overall, a great experience and a wonderful company. Highly recommended!!

When their technician replaced the windshield on my wife's car at our home on May 11 he found that whoever did the previous replacement broke the clips and molding. It had been put back together with extra urethane. This work was done prior to us owning the vehicle. The tech did a great job letting us know about the issue. He said that if we obtained the molding, he would provide the clips and put it back together for us if we brought it to their shop. I purchased new molding and my wife made an appointment for June 2 at 10 am. After making the 30+minute drive to their shop, she found the store to be vacant. After several phone calls we were informed that the Arlington store had closed. Since June 2, we have left at least a dozen messages in an attempt to get them to complete this job and so far we haven't received one return call. I called my State Farm insurance agent who paid the claim and they were not able to offer me any recourse. With every phone call so far we have been unable to speak with anyone locally - our calls keep getting forwarded to some national call center where they take our messages, but again we have yet to receive any return call. Our experience with Glass Doctor has been poor - a Rx of pain and frustration. I wouldn't even give them one star for a rating, but I was unable to get this posted without it....

The installation was stellar! I highly recommend Scott Duncan. He was professional and skilled and a pleasure to talk to. He installed 5 large windows in a timely manner. I had a broken hinge and was going to replace it myself with a hinge I had ordered but I had no idea how I was going to do it. He said that he has worked on these extra large wood windows that push out. I was gone a few minutes and when i came back he had our large window out and the hinge on and we installed it. Scott went over and above what he was there to do. Again, I would highly recommend Scott.

I had the company install my shower glass a few years ago and recently one panel came loose and had to be reseated. The technician came and fixed the issue (15 minutes)because it was under life time warranty. That was yesterday. Today I got a call from a guy from Seattle branch, his name is Hall, telling me that I owed them money for the work. I was busy at that time so I asked if he could send the bill to the house. His answer was okay

The people I interacted with were all polite, friendly and professional. The work completed was done well and I was completely satisfied. The cost was reasonable and comparable to other quotes received (considerably less than some). I would definitely recommend Glass Doctor for anyone needing window glass replaced.

The window was not an easy fix: specialized window, etc. However, they came out, measured, addressed the situation and ordered the glass. Came out to replace the broken one two weeks later. It looks fantastic. Thank you!

Scott and Don did a great job installing two large picture windows in the living room of my second floor condo. Not an easy job, and they did it without a lift! They were extremely professional, timely and kind. I was working from home, and there was no disruption. They did a fantastic job, and I would highly recommend.

Scott did such a great job replacing a ceiling height mirror in our master bath that had cracked from installing new light fixtures that we had him replace an oval mirror in our powder room with a beautiful rectangle mirror. I highly suggest Glass Doctor for any of your mirror needs.
