Century Mill Lumber

After searching several Rona, Home Depot and Home Hardware outlets I finally found the best lumber outlet in GTA! I'm re-building a worn out shed into a 3 season garden room and was looking for long life exterior wood siding, cedar trim and interior finishing wood. Century Mill had everything! Chris Black has lots of product knowledge and construction experience and the advice he shared was very helpful. Oh, and they deliver too - even to cottage country!

This was like a candy store for me seeing all the stuff available. Was tons of fun and Derrick was super helpful with getting what I needed. As I know wood isn't cheap right now, they were able to help provide a few options as to what I could go with to help me cut cost.And on day of pick up, I was even able to find some great cut off that I got cheap. I had a small hiccup on my order which was essentially my own fault due to inexperience but Chris was absolute awesome and followed up with me the next day. I have to say their service is unquestionable, from the front office to the guys in the mill shop. Highly recommend to anyone, from professional jobs to the general hobbyist.I ordered a slab of maple, that they rough finished and glued up for me.

They certainly added a POS debit machine since the opening century ago. They have good variety of woods though it's kinda messy inside. They don't tag their products,there is a lot of price tags missing so you hear one price from the salesman and they charge you 2 times more and you may figure it out when it's late and you are already left. When you buy 8 footer pine you expect them all to be the same length. One was an inch shorter another 3 inches taller. Still staff are nice except the person in the office.

I was referred to Century Mill Lumber by a local workshop to purchase wood for a class project. I was really happy with the experience. The staff helped breakdown pricepoints accurately for me as I looked through selection, and they also helped me approximate the amount of short lengths I required for my project without overspending (but enough for me to prevent a second trip/another purchase.)I ended up purchasing cherry and I found the pricepoint affordable, and the staff took the time to hand pick the boards for me to ensure I had quality pieces to work with.I am a beginner and this was my first time purchasing and working with rough cut lumber, and I'll definitely return to Century Mill for my next project.

Very friendly service. Got high quality lumber to repair my deck. They helped cut to required length and even helped strap products securely to roof rails of my van.

Great lumber yard with lots of selection. Staff was very helpful in my experience.

Great selection of wood both domestic and exotic. It's a huge advantage to be able to rummage through the wood for the ideal piece. I might also add that they are always in stock (I can only speak of the domestic as I don't buy foreign wood)

Great selection of domestic and exotics. Prices are a bit higher than other places. Best part for me is that they leave me alone while I look for stuff. And if ever I have a question, the first thing they say is NEVER ....what are you using it for?...." they figure if you're at the mill then you know what you're doing. And I like that."
