Pinoy Grill & Restaurant
Probably the best Filipino restaurant in the whole Niagara Region. Halo halo and Sisig is a must try! The grilled squid is also very juicy and soft and if cooked to perfection. Nice ambiance also.

We got the boodle fight for 6. There was just 4 of us but we have enough left overs for another day! Quality of the food was amazing. We’re from Hamilton and the traffic (cause it’s Canada day) to get there was all worth it. The Halo halo left us on a sweet note.

A long needed fantastic Filipino restaurant. So happy to have walked in today. Our lunch of Chicken Inasal and stuffed grilled squid was amazing. We ordered the value meal and it really is. You get a tasty hot soup and your main course is served with rice, pancit, a little salad , the meat entre and a little dessert. Very friendly staff, clean and modern decor. A must go to in Niagara.

We were at the Niagara clock, taking pictures when this couple volunteered to take our picture. This couple was genuine Filipino friendly until Angie, mentioned there’s a Filipino restaurant close by. Until she mentioned they’rethe owners. Next thing we’re enjoying the delicious pansit, sizzling sisig, barbq pampano and the special halo halo. Ambiance are ver cozy, homey as if you’re in your home. It’s a family atmosphere and you’ll love Angie and hubby Clixto. Thank you and for sure we will visit again. Come and enjoy the foods

Located in an unassuming St. Catharine’s neighbourhood, Pinoy Grill & Restaurant is definitely a good choice for a unique family meal in the area.The layout is spacious, the interior is bright and the staff is extremely welcoming. We ordered two value meals (one main, rice, two spring rolls, soup, noodles and a sesame ball) and two smoothies for our Sunday lunch. All of the food is prepared fresh, and the flavours are well-balanced overall. My only criticisms of our particular meal was that the spring rolls were a tad salty and the squid was slightly undercooked creating a rubbery texture however the pork bbq and the side soup (sinigang) get special mention for their strong flavours.Value-wise you are definitely getting a full meal for a decent price ($19.99/person) in an area where Filipino food options are limited.If you’re looking for a hearty family meal with Asian flavours, this place may be your spot.4.5/5

A must go to Filipino restaurant when you are here in St. Catharines or one the way to the falls and don’t forget it’s grilled. First time coming here with my mom was a pleasure and food is so good! It was nice meeting the owner Divine and Josa, I am not sure how to spell her name. I got grilled liempo and it was delicious. Sago gulaman was a nice touch to the food.

We are from the US and found this restaurant through Google search. Looking at the menu online, we saw that their pricing is on the higher end so we had high hopes. Here are our thoughts:Pros:- The restaurant is nice, feels modern- Sisig was great! Probably the best item on their menu- Lomi was good- inihaw na pusit was also good!- the older lady who helped us pack up our left overs was very niceCons:- Lechon kawali. It was served cold, the serving was small unlike what’s shown in the pictures and not worth the price.- Chicken inasal. It was dry and honestly didn’t taste like it was freshly grilled- Chop suey. It tasted bland- Service. As Filipinos, we are welcoming by nature, but we did not feel welcomed there somehow. We waited for someone to check-in on us, but nothing so we ended up calling them and asked for water refills. Mind you, it didn’t look like they were busy as it was just only us and another family during that time, but yet they didn’t appear attentive to their customers and we had to call their attention every time we needed something.We understand that this restaurant is new and we hope that things improve in the future.

This place is very nice. The staff is kind and made me smile. When I first walked to use the bathroom, I thought I had to come back here. When I did, the food was amazing. I don't usually think about my food when I eat but the food tasted so good, it was all I could think about 3 bites in.Thanks for the great food.I will definitely come back alone or with my friends and family.Thanks Pinoy Grill & restaurant :-)
