Great experience at Ottawa Honda Preowned with Justin L. He greeted us genuinely and wasn’t pushy which was very much appreciated. He listened to our wish-list and knew the cars on the lot well so we could narrow down our options together and then focus on specifics. We never felt rushed or pressured. The paperwork part was clear and efficient. I would recommend to friends and family!

Today I spoke with Peter about damage to my Honda Fit. My experience was excellent, he was able to reposition my bumper at no cost! I was prepared to go ahead with a new bumper for approx $1000.00, herecommend leaving it as the damage was minimal and it will not rust. He was very pleasant and helpful, I am grateful not to spend that money today. If I ever do need repairs to my Honda this is the first place I will call!

I just bought a Honda Accord Sport 2017 it was the best car buying experience, I've had so far.Orlando is awesome felt no sale pressure and was there to show me different options, he went out of his way to make sure I got what I needed.There was no fuss when I asked to bring the car to my mechanic and it passed with flying colours, just a few things not even related to safety and Francois the Manager, made sure that they were taken care of when I picked up the car. Sharon in Finance worked her magic to get me a good rate wit the bank ;o)...Excellent customer service from all.Their cars are not overpriced and very reliable from what came out of my Mechanic's inspection. If you need a car, make your way down to this dealer and ask for Orlando, you will be in good hands.

Page 1 of 2I have had two bad experiences at this dealership, one from the new vehicle department and one from the pre-owned. On the new side they installed thousands of dollars of over-priced accessories on the vehicle and did not include the price for them in the for sale ad nor on the car card at the dealership. It was only when we came down to the total cost did they ad $3,000 for the accessories. Ottawa Honda seems to install accessories regularly and charge accordingly rather than asking the customer if they wish to purchase any accessories. I have been in touch with OMVIC regarding the ad with the incorrect total price on the vehicle as the final price listed should be ALL charges except for tax and licensing and this was not the case here. If anyone else has had this issue I recommend you contact OMVIC as well.On March 27, 2023, on the pre-owned side, like similar other comments on Google, they advised new tires would be put on the vehicle and instead of a name brand they installed the cheapest chinese made tires so they could maximize their profit. No word of any warranty, tread mileage limit or anything else. The salesman would not budge on their price as they said they had to put $3,000 into the vehicle. The 4 tires cost approx. $600 incl. tax plus they changed a hydraulic hinge on the tailgate door and the front struts which necessitated an alignment. Doesn't sound like $3,000 worth of work to me. The rear brake rotors are also heavily rusted but apparently they passed the Ottawa Honda safety. When discussed with the manager he said the car was used, this is what you get. After paying $22,000 for the vehicle I expect better service and parts than we received. If you are buying a vehicle from Ottawa Honda I would review the prices in details and ask what kind of parts they are going to install prior to finalizing any deal. I will never deal with them again as there are plenty of Honda dealers with better service in Ottawa.UPDATESMarch 30I took the car to an independent repair garage and they found major deficiencies. The vehicle should never have passed a safety. Issues include all of the brand new tires losing air, needs a drive shaft, needs rear rotors, driver side stabilizer link has tape over the grease fitting holes, needs upper strut mounts, needs wiper blades and a few other issues. Some of these items are major issues that deal with braking, suspension, etc. Obviously Ottawa Honda did not look closely at the vehicle and they were more than willing to sell an unsafe vehicle with a safety certificate. They also installed the tires on the rims incorrectly and the independent repair garage fixed them for free as it was very unsafe, the tires could have come off the rims while driving.March 31Ottawa Honda went over the vehicle again and stated that nothing was wrong. Despite stating they would “get it right” and being provided with a list of the deficiencies from the other repair garage they are stating nothing is wrong with the vehicle. However, despite stating that nothing was wrong, they agreed to replace the windshield wipers and they turned the rear rotors to remove the large amounts of rust from them rather than replacing them. They also re-balanced and re-installed the “Made in China” tires and fixed the driver’s side stabilizer grease fitting holes issue. They also advised the drive shaft is fine and does not require replacement. All of these issues should have been noted and fixed when the initial safety was completed. The mechanic at the other repair garage cannot believe Ottawa Honda is acting in such an untrustworthy manner and released a vehicle that was unsafe for the road. Oddly enough the mechanic who completed the safety is also no longer in Ottawa Honda’s employ as he has “moved on to another job closer to home”.I contacted Honda Canada who advised there is nothing they can do as each dealership is independently owned and operated.Continued on next review

Justin was the Sales associate I had dealt with. He was great!I have been to a few dealerships and was most comfortable in this one. He was not pressuring me ... where as other dealerships sales associates were to the point I was uncomfortable.I had not planned on signing that day and did! He got straight to the point. I let him know my needs and wants for a vehicle and he found me the perfect one within my budget! I picked up my vehicle today and am soooo happy with my purchase!The manager was also great ! I went to this dealership and dealt with a salesperson by the name of Marius. After looking at some cars I asked how flexible they can be on the price. Marius bluntly told me We are not flexible at all

Great experience. Orlando was phenomenal as was Valerie. They got me the best rate. Explained everything in detail. Gave me a great trade in value on my civic. Super happy with my 2020 crv. Had it in my hands and ready to go inside of a week. Would do business with them again when i am due for another Honda. I would give more stars if i could!
