Good waiters, great tap beer, fantastic location, but extremely poor food. They use too bad quality ingredients, processed food, like in their hamburgers (not done from raw materials) or salad. Everything very salty (meat, sauce), like “out-of-a-can”, from high volume packages. Poor quality food. You may find the same type of food elsewhere (but in this place’s case calling it junk food is correct). If you like hamburgers but care about using good ingredients, go elsewhere.

Nice place. I went early in the morning, so it was kind of empty. Portions were good but for the price, I think they could have been bigger. Pancakes with blueberries were delicious, recommended.

This place is amazing. It's one of those places you go for a get-together. When there with my gf and her friends. We had a great celebration of a birthday. The food is great, the staff is friendly and professional. I've ordered the kraken ( fried calamari) and fish n chips with spicy dipping sauce, which I recommend. Shack attakk Montréal is one of those places you need to check it out.

Good quick service, the breakfast special that made me come back is still available but now between 7 and 9 am! Potatoes still crunchy and the service is still excellent.

They made a mistake with my order, they mistook my bavette" with somebody else's so the doneness of my steak was almost "well done" instead of being "medium". In general I would be disappointed but the waitress was so willing to rectify the situation even proposing to give me another steak for free (I refused)

It must be over a decade since I’ve had breakfast at La Grand-Mère Poule and all I can remember from back then is not liking their coffee and that their washrooms made me chuckle with the unexpected sound of clucking chickens over their speakers. Now, with Shack Attakk Beaubien added to their name, I went back 3 weeks ago and they have a new soundtrack! Dining indoors, or on their patio, to the sounds of the ocean breeze with its waves and seagulls; it all matches perfectly with their surfer-vibe decor. Their washrooms downstairs are definitely worth visiting for all the creative effort they’ve put into their elaborate artwork, colours, posters and lighting.Am glad to say that their regular brew coffee is actually quite good now!! I quite enjoyed La Grand “Mer” Poule, as they call their smoked salmon and asparagus stuffed crêpe bretonne, topped with hollandaise sauce and gratinéd cheese. I was expecting the smoked salmon that gets served with cream cheese on bagels but it was actually baked salmon; very tasty and not fishy, just as it should be. There’s lots to choose from on their vast menus for breakfast, lunch and supper. #francina_a_foodie
