Happyvalley Newfoundlands

All is not what it seems. I bought a dog from them and it had genetic defects and turned mean. They blamed me. I returned the dog and he attacked them requiring his euthanization. Those dogs don't get to run loose, they are kenneled.

They love raising Newfoundland dogs

I bought a Newfoundland puppy from this breeder last March (2018) and could not be happier with the dog. He is healthy, and everything I had hoped for in a newf. My issue is that the Happyvalley has not provided us with his AKC papers as they were supposed to do, and do not seem interested in rectifying the situation. I was initially told the AKC was the cause for delay, but upon inquiry with them I have learned the litter was never registered. My calls, e-mail, and texts are no longer being answered by Happyvalley. If all you want is a healthy dog, you'll probably get it. If I had it to do over again I would have withheld partial payment until my AKC documents arrived.***UPDATE 3/12/2019*** I am changing my review from 2 to 5 stars. I finally got confirmation that the litter was registered and my AKC papers are on the way.
