I recently had a mold situation with a bit of a short timeline in getting dealt with. Understandably this was stressful for me. Right away speaking with Marsha, and in my many calls after with questions to get everything set up, I felt seen and heard. Sean and Roy handled my mold remediation and crack repair. Mark and his partner (I didn't catch name I'm sorry!) came and did my drywall to get everything put back together. Every single person who worked on this for me was kind, polite, respectful of my home, and understanding of even if this was not maybe as major a problem as some situations, it was a big problem for me. I appreciate that everyone took time to answer questions, explain the process, and really demonstrate that they understood what this felt like from the customer side. Being made to feel like a priority and treated with understanding throughout makes a big difference. While I hope to never be in a position of needing these services again, I would definitely recommend them to those that do. Thank you!

Building Works completed a full home reno on our 1960's bungalow in 2022. They came highly recommended by a good friend but the entire process was very disappointing. Our contractor was great but he was clearly being pulled in many different directions and did not have the time to fully invest in our project. This resulted in the project taking 8 months instead of the promised 4 and was 50% over budget. The scope of work never changed and the owner Erich was non responsive and unwilling to take any responsibility.The most heartbreaking part of the whole experience is that we are now finding out that they have not paid some of the subcontractors.Kind, hardworking small business owners were not paid by Building Works for completed work on our home. We had flooring installers show up at our house threatening to place a lien on our home, glass installers unpaid months after we paid Building Works in full etc.I have emailed, phoned and texted Erich the owner and the office asking that these businesses be paid for the work they did on our home without any response. We paid Building Works and they should have paid the people who did the work. I would not recommend Building Works based purely on the ethics of this company.

We had some window and stucco issues on a large wall facing a ravine, which receives a lot of weather. It was a large project that was unpredictable and challenging. We were very happy with the quality of the workmanship, and level of service/responsiveness. A particular shout out to Mo, Sammy, Matt, Max, Cash, Stefan, Dan, Scott and Brendan for delivering a great work product in very challenging circumstances.

We are so grateful for the Building Works team. Roy and Sean took great care in fixing a significant crack in our foundation and they left the job site very clean upon completion. Franco was our Project Manager and he was readily available to answer all my questions and was great to chat with throughout the process. Thank you Building Works!

Working with Building Works was a success - they were professional and helpful from the very beginning. Mo did FANTASTIC work and was a very clear communicator and so wonderful to work with. Honestly, we're going to miss having Mo here at the house! Scott and the rest of the crew were also very professional, and we're so glad we got the project done. Thanks again for all the hard work!

We’ve recently just moved into one of the properties built by this company and I have to say what a fantastic company they are, they have kept in contact even after moving in to see if there is anything we need, they builders on site are also fantastic, there all so helpfully and friendly. The house itself meets all out expectation. Would 100% recommend to others.

Just had Building Works do work on my property. A really professional and transparent company who have dome amazing work at very short notice. They have answered calls after hours and gone the extra mile to help me. Tim, Max and Dan all stood out and were a pleasure to have in our home, even the dogs like them. After spotting a leak in our basement I contacted Building Works for the repairs and I am so happy that I did! Scott, project manager, was professional, honest and responded to me very quickly. When it came to the actual work I couldn't be more impressed with Sean and Roy. They were professional and did a fantastic job! They took the time to explain the repair process and I feel confident that I will not have any more leaks. I recommend Build Works to anyone who is having issues with their foundation!

Building Works /Mold Squad did an excellent job at our house. We were most impressed with this Company throughout the project. The project involved removing Mold from the attic area and then crack injection and alleviating the very bad smell from near the downstairs office. They were very thorough and clean. They even wore booties! Scott Oud was very professional and communicated with us explaining the process as we went along. We were impressed with the Max & Dan when they fixed the Mold issue in the attic and then Roy and Sean handled the crack injection and water test downstairs. The price was fair and comparative to other Companies. We would highly recommend Building Works and Mold Squad.
