Nice view by the water. Good place for a small walk and take a break or picnic if you are driving whole day long.

It was nice to discover and visit. Theres a park nearby for kids to play, a small beach and walking trail; gazebo with table and benches.

We visited this as a break on a road trip and it was a really nice place. The axe is indeed pretty big yet not to the level of holy cow". The well maintained flower beds and view of the lovely river do make it a very fine whole. Worth a stop if you pass on the nearby highway

Amazing park surrounding the axe - looks like there are a variety of water activities as well (was there early may so weather not ideal for water sports). The axe was really accessible for pictures and walking around.

Amazing to see the Biggest Axe in real life in a beautiful setting. Marina & rental equipment available & washrooms. Best icecream at Yum Yums ice cream shack across the street from Nanawick Arena & even makes Doggie sundaes which our dog loved.

It's worth every minute. Not far off the highway. 9 minutes. Beautiful park on the shore of St. John River. Highly recommended. Very kid friendly.

A really nice place for a pitstop. I finally went to see the axe. It's there to represent the importance of the forestry industry in the town and New Brunswick.A fitting monument for a big industrial sector here that's surrounded by a nice sized park on the water. You could spend half a day here or just 30 minutes and it would be worth the short drive.

Interesting place if you're in Nackawic and the Big Axe Brewery is a fine place as well!

We stopped here as a rest from a long drive. Very nice and big park with plenty to do. There was a rental place if you would like to go bicyle in the water :). There are many fields/terrain (basketball, tennis, baseball, football...), also many picnic tables, a not very wide beach but long (not sure if anybody actually swims here, but you can walk or just sit and contemplate the nature and its sound). It is a pretty big place. Kids can play around. You can have a nice walk. Ah!! and the LARGEST AXE is cool :).
