My daughters both attended Rosedale Playschool and remember it fondly. The beautiful outdoor space, the thoughtful and intentional provocations and the kind, smart and compassionate teachers are unmatched in the city. Both my children and myself made lifelong friends here.

I am very grateful that my daughter attends Rosedale playschool as she has grown immensely since her time being there. They do a mixture of outdoor and indoor time. When they're outdoors, there is a variety of play in the gated area for them to explore and if it's nice enough, they'll go on nature walks and do some sketching and snack picnics. When they go inside there is a variety of things to do from dancing, painting, arts and crafts, a variety of stations like sand or water stations, dress-up to kitchen play. There was even an Art Educator, Miss Janel who came over several weeks to work with the children on foundational art skills and sculpting animals and their homes. Miss Rachel and Miss Stacey are so caring towards all the children and plan the day that caters to the children's growth the best. They always send an update of the day along with pictures after each school day which is lovely to see. Thank you for everything!

My son has been attending Rosedal Playschool for 7 months and he is excited to go every day. I love the commitment the teachers have to making sure the students have plenty of outside time. They have made a magical space to learn both outdoors and inside the classroom. They treat the children with respect and truly honor them as learners and explorers. A wonderful first school experience.

This Playschool is special to our family. All three of our children have loved being a part of their program. It is obvious how passionate the teachers about supporting learning through play. I love that they spend at least half of their day outside interacting with nature. I highly recommend this program to anyone considering Playschool for their child. I think it is so important in fostering a sense of community, social skills, self regulation, and preparing children for Kindergarten.

We have spent multiple years with Rosedale Playschool, and will never be able to say enough good things about it. The teachers are so fantastic, the space is magical, and the approach and guiding philosophies with the children is first rate. My son loves how much they’re outdoors and exploring, engaging with the community and space surrounding them. It’s well worth driving 15 minutes each way to access this school, and my next children can’t wait to start attending as well.

We love Rosedale Playschool!! The Reggio-inspired programming and outdoor play in this community-run school are amazing. Parents have many opportunities to volunteer which is so fun for the children. I can't recommend this school to parents with preschool-aged children enough - it's the best! We will always remember our child's time at the Playschool fondly ❤️

Both my kids went to Rosedale and absolutely loved their time there. The quality of education, activities and friendships will always be remembered. They loved the neighbourhood nature walks and being predominantly outdoors. The teachers are incredible and are a huge reason to the playschool’s success.

All three of our children have attended Rosedale Playschool and my only regret is that they can’t stay for all of their elementary education! The teachers are kind and focus on the children’s interests. The kids have grown in confidence with their bodies and their ability to express their emotions. We LOVE Rosedale playschool.

Two of our children attended this amazing neighbourhood playschool and I never hesitate to recommend it to friends. The classroom is an amazing space but I particularly loved how much time the kids spent outside each day. Every class spends a good portion of the day outside but in the afternoon class, my daughter spent 3 hours outside almost every day! Only when the weather was rainy or really cold did they venture inside.

The teachers are excellent, as are the premises. The amount of time spent outside (when possible) is great. Brilliant communication. Everything is really well set up. Our daughter loves it here.
