NEVER trust your sentimental jewellery with a repair at this jewellers. I’ve come away with my gold rings in worse shape, a thinner gold band and engraved names that have been on the rings 30 years now half missing letters. To say I’m upset is an understatement. They didn’t listen from start to finish and when they couldn’t do the exact job I asked them for they did it there way instead, what they should have done was picked up the phone to say hey we can’t do what you asked how would you like to proceed. Which would have been courteous and common sense. Instead they went ahead and now my rings are not sized correctly, the thickness of the bands have been shaved down so much the band is thinner (missing gold) and as I said engraved names now missing letters. Will never return again and I’ll make sure to share my experience. Customer service matters and my sentimental rings that I’ve worn for 30 years matter. To them. Not so much.

Thank you Austen jewellers for re-sizing my mother in-laws old wedding ring set and making the repairs needed for some of the claws. Also, thank you for having them ready so quickly, just in time for my birthday :)They do not look like the same set I dropped off, they are absolutely stunning, so sparkly and clean. Austen’s is a great local jewelry store that does things well; from replacing watch batteries to helping you find a new watch when old faithful dies, and then patiently sizing it to fit. They also have a good selection of rings, chains, and earrings. They are friendly and attentive.#watch

We had a good experience here as first time customers. We asked for a custom addition to my wife's necklace here and they delivered. Using CAD to exactly match the style of the other two letters on the necklace, the goldsmith was able to create a third letter out of matching 14k white gold. This was symbolic as the third letter represents the newest addition to our family, and they were able to help us with making the necklace addition become a reality.
