Preop Clinic - Hamilton Health Sciences

The staff was amazing, kind and helpful. Jacqueline the pre op nurse was incredible, friendly and knowledgeable and really put our minds at ease. There was a bit of a wait but they we're getting through everyone in the waiting room pretty promptly considering the huge volume of patients they had to deal with.

First time ever in a preop clinic. With it being on an appointment style schedule, we were expecting them to be a bit more punctual. Expect to wait in the waiting room for a long time. Make sure you eat before you go. The staff are friendly and we felt for the most part that they listened to our questions. The waiting room had no air circulation and felt very dated. Parking and wifi was not free. Just be prepared to be there for a while. Our appointment was at 11:40 and we only had to see two different people. We did not get out until 2:15. I can understand if this was walk in, but making a schedule to be on schedule would be nice!

The admin team were very nice. However we were there for 3 hours and late picking our son up at school because we had no idea it would be so long.I saw 2 separate med staff for less than 5 minutes each for basic stuff they did at the hospital 3 days ago. So, be prepared for a long wait! It would have been nice to be warned it could take that long.

Worst place to get covid test!! Both times they hurt my nose really bad!!
