Planning:After booking with our venue, we received a list of recommended vendors, including planners. We poured over past work & client reviews – Wed & Willow really caught our eye. We really loved Heather’s vibe & aesthetic. After meeting with Heather over zoom, we were really excited to work with her. We began by filling out a detailed questionnaire about ourselves & our vision for our wedding from which Heather created our proposal & mood board. From the very beginning, Heather understood our vision & helped bring that vision to life.Heather was very organized & provided us with a timeline of the planning process. The timeline was very helpful in keeping us on track & prompted us to think about things that we would have never thought of otherwise. At the same time, Heather was really great about responding to my numerous emails & answering all of our questions (and there were a lot). Throughout the process we met with Heather via zoom to check-in & discuss how things were progressing, what still needed to be done, etc. These meetings were really helpful to ensure we were all on the same page (i.e. talking via email vs. in-person (well online)). As our wedding day got closer, Heather provided us with a day-of timeline. The timeline was so helpful in terms of having an idea of what to expect & to ensure that the day ran smoothly.Finally, on the day of our wedding, we were able to see our vision come to life. Our vibe & esthetic – what we had wanted our guests to feel – Heather truly nailed it. Heather designed & executed everything to a tee – from the ceremony space to the cocktail & reception areas; to the décor & tablescapes; the special touches; and finally the stunning floral arrangements, bouquets, & boutonnieres. Heather made sure things ran smoothly, allowing us to relax & enjoy our day. We truly could not have asked for a more perfect day. We would highly recommend Wed & Willow to anyone looking to work with a planner for their special day.Floral:We were lucky enough to work with Heather from Wed & Willow as our wedding planner – who also did floral design as well. In our initial wedding proposal/ mood board, Heather absolutely nailed our design esthetic & what we had envisioned for our day – especially in terms of floral design. We really wanted to highlight nature & those natural elements but still be chic, classy, & elegant.On our wedding day, we saw our vision come to life. I absolutely loved my bridal bouquet & the bouquets for the bridesmaids. The boutonnieres were simple yet classy. And the floral arrangements for the ceremony & reception areas were stunning. We used Heather and her Wed and Willow team as day of coordinators for our wedding. With 400 guests and over 20 different vendors we had a ton of moving parts. They set up our venue to our exact vision. Heather was timely to all meetings and took over the final preparations on the agreed upon date. From the moment I reached out to Wed & Willow I knew I wanted to book Heather for my wedding florals. I sent her a couple inspiration pictures and our first mood board was 95% it - there were really few tweaks, Heather fixed them and then she nailed it!Up to the wedding Heather communicated with us whenever we needed something. She is professional and amazing at her job! Day of wedding I got so many compliments on our florals and I almost cried when we had to get rid of them.I can not imagine what our day would have looked like without Heather and the Wed & Willow team!

Run, don't walk to hire Heather as your wedding planner, designer, coordinator - EVERYTHING! She is simply amazing. With a date set for Oct. 2020, I had initial plans for a big, 200 person wedding in downtown Milwaukee. Before COVID emerged, Heather helped me plan what was going to be an incredible wedding. She truly brought my vision to life and helped to source all of the many vendors needed. She was incredibly creative, patient and easy to work with. When COVID started to impact the many weddings in 2020, Heather continually helped me to plan, re-plan and re-plan again to try to make my wedding happen with the many restrictions in place. Ultimately, with just a month until my wedding date, we decided to completely scrap our initial plans and decided to have a very intimate wedding with just immediate family in a new location (a family friend's barn). Heather immediately sprung into action, helping me scale back all vendors, change locations and ultimately still create one of the most beautiful weddings I've been to, let alone had as my own. She and Krista (of sister floral company Native Sage) are truly some of the best to work with and they will make all of your wedding dreams come true. I can't recommend Wed & Willow enough for all of their amazing work and talent!

I attended Wed + Willow's shoot out in Milwaukee last year and it was an awesome thing to be a part of. Their attention to detail was amazing and each set up was STUNNING beyond words. Their aesthetic was very consistent with my brand. I continue to share and use the photos I took at this event for my business. It was an awesome event where I got to be creative and take photos of some crazy talented vendors work. I also loved that they sent over a full list of all the vendors involved so we could tag them when we shared our photos on social media. I also met some life long friends at this event who I continue to stay in touch with today. All in all, would definitely recommend their shoot outs!!

I don’t even know where to start!! I was just in awe with how stunning my wedding florals were. From start to finish these ladies were amazing and so helpful! They took every part of my vision and turned it into reality. I can’t even tell you how much I loved every single piece they created for my big day. I remember I was so excited that there was an opportunity for a couple of styled shoots set up - especially for us photographers in the Midwest because you don't hear a ton of workshops or content events in the Midwest. I wasn't sure what to expect from the shootout. Of course there was information sent out on the style of shoots we were doing, what was included, as well as parking, but I wasn't sure overall what to expect from it!When I attended the Birch Shootout, I really enjoyed the fact that I had the opportunity to connect with other photographers and creatives. Knowing Heather (Wed & Willow) from working with her before on a styled shoot, definitely helped with knowing about this opportunity! There were three setups for the styled shoot, which was really nice for portfolio building and content. The images I have from the event, has helped with some booked opportunities - which has been cool to see. The communication leading up to the event was great! I think the communication the day of event - wasn't very clear, unfortunately. I had came with a friend and when we walked in, we were unsure where to start and when because we weren't sure if we were getting a formal introduction, if we were all shooting at the same time, etc. It was a bit confusing at first. the planning of the event did go pretty smoothly and overall the organization of the event was executed.Overall, I am thankful for the event because it has helped me with some booked opportunities, meeting other creatives, realizing what I like vs. what I don't like from shootouts to help me sign up for future ones. I personally think if you're a beginning photographer or stuck in a creative rut, shoot outs are great to attend because they help you learn a lot about yourself and others, as well as having enough content/portfolio to showcase.
