UPDATE Nov 21 2022: general manager from Hurst contacted me and apologized for the delay in communication and resolution, which is much appreciated. She wanted to make it right, and so my impression of customer service has improved.ORIGINAL POST: So disappointed! Very little respect shown to a new boat, and “zero” reply from management. I just had a winterization done, and my perfectly clean new boat was returned with oil spilled all over the engine compartment and running down into the bilge (bad for the environment!!!). I immediately wrote AND called the general manager, who did not even have an employee follow up, let alone contact me personally. At a cost of $700 (a 24% increase since last year), I would expect much more from Hurst. Makes me wonder what other shortcuts were taken?? Total money grab. Won’t be going back.

Just spent almost 30 minutes on the phone with Mark Hurst who graciously gave me some of his time to offer a second opinion on a problem with my boat being serviced by another marine group and even provided some other contacts. That's good people.

UPDATE: I have since been refunded the pressure washing costs and was informed that they had not cleaned the boat because it looked OK, and I wasn't charged for the costs.What can I say... I asked, during the spring commissioning of my boat, for my pontoon boat's carpets to be steam cleaned via the form on their website. There's a check box that says steam clean carpets." I also asked for the boat to have some interior detailing.After picking up my boat

Scammers, never going back. They changed boat parts that were good and didn't fix the problem I brought it there for

Disappointing service and more expensive than other marinas; I was charged $100 for 2 boat cover snaps that came off after first use; also, winterization was quoted to me @$500 but then was charged $700 with made up claims they used more oil (my previous winterizations were just over $400). Definitely a disappointing experience for me.

I usually hold off on a review until a business delivers but the service I have received thus far from Robert has been outstanding. Quick to answer questions or for help even on his days off. Truly someone who cares about his clients. If you are looking for a new boat or motor ask for Robert I highly recommend him.

We recently decided to purchase our first boat for the cottage. We had the pleasure of meeting with Robert at Hurst Marina. Of all the dealers we met I found Richard to be the least pushy, and presumptuous of them all. In fact he had very soft sales approach and applied no pressure at all. There was a wide range of water craft and supplies from high-end performance to some used ones that were closer to our budget.Not only was he a wealth of knowledge, he also took us for a test ride in the boat we were interested in (launching it right at the marina). He also had financing that came in 2% below my banks best loan.I’m granting full stars for our experience
