Seaside Villa Motel & RV Park
Good room service, large rooms, lots of dishes provided and plenty of beds. Nothing was broken and the power bar next to the bed was a nice touch. Decent location close to the ocean and it is not too far from downtown Powell River. There is a very scenic cliff next to the road on the opposite side of the motel that looks down on the beach and ocean. Tap water was a very slight brown tint at the time of this review, however. If it weren't safe to drink I'm sure there would be a notice posted, but I still drank bottled.

Disappointing stay.We had stopped here 3 years ago and at that time is was ok, but this latest stay was very disappointing. It was not clean, dated furniture and battered walls. I would not stay there. All it would take would be some paint, new furniture and flouring to freshen the place up.

Gave 5 stars as it was exactly as advertised. A good price. Clean rooms. A decent kitchen with full sized fridge ,stove, microwave kettle and coffee maker etc. Parking is fine and it is pet friendly with a small fee. As mentioned in other reviews the motel is on a well . This has a what I assume is a little iron in it which colours the water a bit. We just brought a couple of gallons of water with us for drinks. Problem solved..

Hated the room. Carpet is really, dirty, and musty. My beds sink. I had a bed where 1 side sinks much more than the side.Tap and flush water were coloured. Owner said that it's well water. Didn't appear safe and the water tastes funny so we didn't dare drink from the tap.Cleaners do a bad job with the room. I had the vacuum the room myself.Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Saving grace is the beach nearby. Beautiful place to watch sunsets.

You can't drink the water due to it being unsafe. The cleaning staff is completely unprofessional and will empty garbage bins all over the room and your belongings if the room is too messy. The owner is the cheapest person I've ever met and has no sense of customer service. He tries to justify being rude to customers when issues are brought up. It's a lovely view from the location but other than that I would not encourage anyone to give this guy money. He is lazy old and cheap. I stayed here for 5 months for work and my employees staying there wanted to quit just due to the hotel.

Clean and adequate for a one night stay. But no pride in ownership. The yard and plants were unkempt. Many old , trashy trailers in the RV yard.

We did not even get checked in and there was problems. Owner explained we could not stay as we have a small Maltise dog and he didn't have cleaners for after we left. Our dog is trained, but because he was short staff no pets. If we did stay he was charging an extra large fee because if our dog and his no staff.

For the price, it was decent. Here's what to look out for:Pros:- Helpful & cheerful staff- Clean- Surprisingly extensive kitchenette (large/small pot, frying pan, toaster, cutlery, cooking utensils, kettle, teapot, knives, dishes etc.)- Showerhead pressure was perfect- Location- Green stripey towels- Low priceCons:- The water is actually yellow (bring drinking water?)- Many spiders/bugs- Shower is small (standing only)- Toilets don't flush well- Busy parking with giant trucks (when we were there anyway)- Maid service is limited over multiple days

Do not stay here. There is no air conditioning or fan. The room we were given had a horrible smell. Everything is outdated. The barbecue on site was fro the entire motel - in a different area - and after being told how tricky it was to light there is no way I would use it. Manager refused to refund us after leaving after around 1 hour.
