Airwaves Music - Vancouver DJs

We used Airwaves music for our wedding in Vancouver and could not have been happier with their services. Maddison was extremely responsive and helpful in making sure we were on track in terms of planning. The DJ assigned to use (DJ Kal) was AMAZING. He was professional, well prepared, fun and made sure everything music wise went smoothly. Our dance floor was bumping the entire night thanks to Kal!

We hired Airwaves Music for our recent wedding and they were the absolute best!!! From the beginning the whole process so easy, they answer any and all questions you have and are so nice to work with. Stacey was selected to be out DJ and we couldn't have been happier. We can't stop talking about how good the music was, Stacey was able to keep the dance floor packed all night with options for everyone to get out and dance to music that they knew and loved. The only complaint I heard from the wedding night was that it ended too soon which I think is the indication of an amazing time! We would recommend Airwaves Music and Stacey in particular for any upcoming events. Even in the words of our 4 year old niece the best part of the wedding was the dancing!!!

Our company recently used the services of Airwaves Music for our annual holiday party, and we were absolutely thrilled with the results! Our DJ, Owen, was professional, courteous, and did an excellent job of keeping the party lively and fun. The music selection was perfect and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. We also appreciated Owen’s flexibility and willingness to take requests from our guests. Overall, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend AirWaves Music to anyone in need of a top-notch DJ for their event.

We hired Airwaves as our DJ and MC for our wedding in August of 2022! We were matched with Owen and he did a fantastic job. We are really picky with our music choices and he was so accommodating to what we wanted. Our guests loved the music and he really made sure everything flowed smoothly. 10/10 recommend working with Airwaves Music if you're looking for a DJ in the Vancouver area. I had DJ Aerodynamix as the dj for my wedding after seeing how great he was at my sister's wedding. Great company to work with, everyone we met along the way were knowledgeable and helpful. DJ Aerodynamix did a great job working with us to curate the vibe we were looking for.

My husband and I hired a DJ with Airwaves for our wedding in November 2022. Communication with the management team was fantastic. They were responsive to our questions and understanding of our needs. However, the DJ Airwaves provided us, Alec, was disappointing. During our ceremony, as our wedding party was exiting, the music abruptly ended. This made the remaining exits of the bridal party awkward as they left.Another moment was our father-daughter dance, we had instructed Alec to fade the song at a specific time during our initial meeting and via online forms, however, this was forgotten during the moment. This left my dad and I in an awkward position as my husband rushed to the DJ to end the song.During the mother-son dance, there were a couple of moments the music stopped playing through the speakers.Lastly, we had a list of songs that we wanted to be played during the night, but these were never played. It was rather disappointing as we had taken the time to make this list and many months to plan. Overall the company was a great service, especially for weddings. Be advised to make sure to research your DJ before accepting them for your event.

After searching for hours for a DJ and talking to many live, I was sold in one introductory conversation with Airwaves. Maddison was our Event Manager and was by our side throughout the whole planning process. She was so attentive to our questions and inquiries and really did an incredible job helping us navigate what could be a stressful process. The DJ that Airwaves matched us up with was DJ Andy Soul and he was fabulous. Music was such an important part of my event and DJ Andy Soul did an amazing job listening to exactly what we wanted and kept the party going the whole night. There wasn't a single moment when the dance floor wasn't full. He also did all of our MC announcements, which was amazing and brought us great peace of mind on the day of the wedding. I would highly, highly recommend using Airwaves if you are looking for a DJ and if you are lucky enough to get matched up with DJ Andy Soul, you will have a great party ahead of you!!!(Married November 2022)

Airwaves was fantastic! Our DJ Owen was great and did a fabulous job of keeping the dance floor busy right through the end of the night. The music selection platform is intuitive and overall, we had a seamless experience planning everything for the day. It also gave us peace of mind to know that we had a backup DJ in place, just in case!

I booked with Airwaves for the dance party on the final night of our national association's annual conference. The process was very streamlined and easy, and every person I worked with was incredibly accommodating and kind. Mukhi was our DJ, and he is such a dear man and a great DJ! He really kept the party going to the very last second. Airwaves might seem pricy, but you are very much paying for a high quality experience, and it's WORTH IT. Thanks to the Airwaves team!

We hired Airwaves for our wedding and would definitely recommend their services. Our event manager, Maddison, was fantastic with checking in every few months, answering all of our questions, and connecting us to DJs that were a good fit for our what we wanted for our reception. Their online planning tools were helpful and easy to use. We had a video call with our DJs, Matty and Jake, several weeks to go over the details. They were knowledgeable and fun to work with, and I was impressed by their professionalism on the day of.
