Acme Grocery Store

I was in a rush looking for saran wrap because I was moving and ran out. Stopped off at the mailing place next door but they didn’t have any so I figured I’d try my luck at the grocery store/cafe. Not only did Michael have saran wrap but he also helped bandage me up! I had tripped while moving and scraped my knee pretty bad. He asked me to sanitize my hands while he got out a first aid kit and handed me Polysporin and a big bandaid. Such an amazingly kind and gentle human being! Michael, the world needs more people like you. Thank you so much for being so thoughtful and kind!

I was traveling. Staying in a nearby hotel. Bought some basics, and happened to need sugar. Didn't need a big bag. The owner grabbed me some packages from the back. Just what I needed. It sounds small, but the small things make a difference.

Coming here for drop off and pick up UPS parcels. Very nice owner and helpful. They open until 11pm which is very convenient.

So nice people in the store.Acme is also a UPS access point store. You could pick up your package even at 11pm .Really appreciate of Machel that he even personally dropped the package off my home as I was not convenient. Wish all the best of Acme.

the owner is always in a cheerful mood and recognizes their customers by asking about their life, which amazes me everytime as no other owners remembers their customers as they do. the prices are good too

Owner is super friendly! A couple of years ago I went there to pick up a UPS package. It was big and I didn’t have a car, so the owner drove me home with the package! I am forever grateful!

There is not a better convenience store in Richmond than this place. The owner keeps a very good selection for such a small store and there is always parking available.I was talking with the owner of the store about a woman that my wife was volunteering for. I told the owner that we were gathering groceries for her because she had just undergone an extremely serious surgical procedure to remove her feet. He filled a bag with meat, cheese, bread, mayo and various other things to help her out and contribute to all of the stuff we had gathered with other people. This was a great display or empathy and charity towards somebody he had never met.I urge you to shop local and support this store.P.S. He has plenty of toilet paper..!
