Art Ink Collective Tattoo & Piercing

One lovely, sunny day in the city, I found myself taking a stroll and passing by Art Ink Collective, where a friendly bunch of folx were also enjoying some sunshine. I had a quick chat with them and quickly went onto Instagram to check the studio out further. I found myself entranced and in love with Dixie’s style and designs, so I reached out to make an appointment. Dixie was exceptionally prompt, professional, super friendly, and accommodating during the initial set-up (including design and placement) and scheduling; she was also very understanding when I found myself running 15 minutes late. Art Ink Collective is an extremely clean, open, and bright space. I was greeted by two friendly faces (Dixie & Ginger) and felt immediately welcomed, safe, and in good hands. Dixie confirmed the design and placement with me and worked meticulously to ensure sizing and placement fit my body perfectly. Even during the tattoo, Dixie was so fun to talk to and laugh with. She has an incredible attention to detail, great creativity, and passion. Fun fact: She also makes the amazing healing creams & after-care products, which smell incredible. I have gotten several tattoos over the years and this ‘first-time’ experience I had with Dixie is absolutely one of my favourites. Dixie, thank you so much for your kind-heartedness, strong work ethic, and clam & caring demeanour. I cannot wait to book my next tattoo with you!

Had a great experience getting my second ear piercings from Makayla Reid! She was so kind and very clear about what was happening and so communicative throughout the piercings. And she gave me a thorough aftercare explanation! Highly recommend!

Dixie designed and tattooed THE MOST BEAUTIFUL dot work ornamental on my hand/ wrist area, it is so pretty. Also she was so gentle and great to be tattooed by. She is super knowledgable about aftercare. Overall such a great experience!

I had an amazing experience with Kayluh at Art Ink Collective for my septum piercing. From my initial meeting with her when I dropped in to ask questions, to when I actually got the piercing, she was friendly, approachable yet professional. Before starting the procedure she explained everything clearly and made sure I was always comfortable and relaxed. Being a tad nervous, I appreciated her upbeat and personable approach during our short time together. I didn’t feel like just a number. She even followed up with me a few days later to make sure I was healing well. Kayluh clearly loves what she does and knows her stuff. I am definitely going back to Kayluh for my next piercing!

I had a great experience. I wanted a relatively simple tattoo I'd had in mind for a little while. I trusted George and his work because it's excellent. He's now also one of my favorite tattooists. Would highly recommend - for skill absolutely, for any tattoo you imagine and also for the humanity of the experience. 2 hours flew by. Loved this place

Friendly, inviting, professional, clean experience!Came in with my fiance for our bdays to get tattoos and a spur of the moment navel piercing for me. Absolutely fantastic experience all the way through. I got 2 custom lettering tattoos of my loved ones' handwriting, and Ginger did such a great job it looks like my Nonna herself wrote on my skin. George transformed the idea that my partner had and created a beautiful piece that looked even better than the sketch we walked in with. I forget the name of the girl who did my navel piercing but she was so lovely and thorough explaining the process all the way through! Gotta admit the navel piercing hurt like a b but it's cause I'm a big baby. Definitely going back to Art Ink Collective for our future tattoos!
