Matt was the consummate professional - on time, clean, respectful, and most importantly, did an incredible job installing my dishwasher at an incredibly reasonable price! I will go to UtMa for all my plumbing needs, and cannot recommend him enough to others as well.

I had a flood in my basement just after the coldest temperatures we had in Nova Scotia this year. I called Matt as I was a previous customer. He called me within an hour and came and diagnosed the problem in literally minutes. He made sure my home and problem was safe and contained, then came back shortly thereafter, found the leak quickly and fixed it. Matt even took the time to replace florescent bulbs in fixtures in my kitchen and laundry room that I couldn't replace myself for over 3 years (I know, but we can't all do everything ourselves). Thanks to Matt, I have heat, water and bonus lights! As a single woman, it can be stressful dealing with these issues on your own, but Matt has such a calming and comfortable demeanor about him, a great sense of humor, and his knowledge is unmeasurable. He is an excellent tradesperson, with a true commitment to his clients. I cannot thank him enough. He's unbelievably prompt, courteous, and thorough in explaining how things work and what needs to be fixed. I would never hesitate to call him in the future. 10 Stars!

Matt was great! He was able to make a difficult utility sink installation look easy. Our water lines and drainpipe needed to be relocated and there wasn't much to work with but he got the job done. He also replaced our 20 year old water tank and water flow is much better now. He's very knowledgable and professional with a good sense of humor. I would definitely do business with them again. Highly recommended!

Woke up yesterday to discover that we had no water pressure - oh no!After reviewing several YouTube videos & performing various DIY trouble-shooting suggestions - to no avail; I started calling plumbing companies in HRM & left messages. Hoping that someone would call back & be available to come out to Porters Lake today??? Thankfully, Matt with UtMa HPS responded quickly & said, that he'd be available in the afternoon to inspect the situation.Upon arrival, he examined the well tank, switches, fuses, control box ... and determined that the control box was not working. Thankfully, he had one in his truck inventory & was able to complete the installation the same day. He also adjusted the pressure level in the tank, to optimum (as it was set a bit low) & added air to the tank, and had the water back on before supper.We sincerely appreciated your professionalism & the expertise you provided; in answering our questions & resolving the problem in an efficient manner. We were delighted to be able to work with a local plumbing company (on the Eastern Shore) & would have no hesitation in using your services again & referring you to others.Thank you (Dankeschön)

Matt came within 45 minutes of calling him-to assess a leak which left me with no water. He moved his schedule around-to ensure that I had water by the end of the day. He was lovely, kept to his quoted price, cleaned up afterwards, and went out of his way to explain things to me, and pointed out some other issues that could present a problem in the future. I was in good hands, and I highly recommend this company.

Matt was absolutely amazing! After I described the problem to him, he already knew exactly what was wrong. He cut open our wall at the PRECISE location he measured twice and cut once which was really appreciated! He removed our broken faucet, put in a brand new one and it is working like a charm!
