The layout is nice. The service excellent. The ingredients wonderful. Don't drink booze so don't ask. The location is lovely. The place gives lots of employment to locals. Close to Cupids and Perchance Theatre.

Fantastic little destination for a road trip from St. John's. Family-run, and the staff is very friendly. Line of drinks are great, and it's nice to hear about the background of each straight from the folks who conceived of them. Nice selection of local food to accompany the drink choices.Unfortunately, tours aren't available due to health officials not allowing them while the equipment is in operation. Luckily for the owners, it's in operation constantly to keep up with demand.

Great service, drinks and food! I feel bad because I was passionately waving the menu around while talking about it (because it’s cohesive, descriptive and visually appealing) and I think the staff thought I was looking for service. I ordered a drink anyway but I just hope no one thought I was being rude! We will be back and I’ll wave the menu around less this time. :)

We enjoyed the atmosphere and gorgeous view. The shop section was well appointed. The tasting experience was delicious, we tried 5. We told our wait person that we'd be ordering a cocktail once we did the tasting, however we had to flag them down in order to order them. We also ordered a cheese plate and after 45 minutes had to cancel it because we had other plans later in the evening.

Drinks were delicious! Staff were so friendly and had wonderful suggestions for drinks. It was a rainy day out so nice they had the wood stove all stocked up

The spirits were excellent and the service was superior and enhanced by the beautiful view. We ordered the sharing plate" which was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience there."

What a beautiful location and dining room! I don’t think there is a bad seat in the room; there are windows around most of the room looking out over the bay and the distillery.We had a wonderful lunch of cheeses, meats, tastiest chutneys and mackerel pate. It was all so yummy! We washed it down with a full Banco Noir trees wine - perfect.I can’t wait to get back. Oh - before we left, I purchased their exquisite award winning Gunpowder and Roses Rum. Although I am not much of a rum drinker, this rum tastes fantastic with a few ice cubes or with a splash of water.

Stopped in for a drink, welcomed by friendly staff, and tasteful decor. Had a strawberry dandy, lime & soda spritz mocktails, and a Summer Kiss!

We just dropped in here today and had a fantastic experience which I would like to share with you. We were greeted by a wonderful, very friendly lady, named Jackie. She took the time to explain the Newfoundland Distillery Comp.history and then got us into some fabulous testing of the Spirits which they craft up right on their premises using locally sourced ingredients. This is a very young establishment but the unique local batches of spirits they are making, have already gained some fantastic recognition as you can see by the awards on the bottles. I found the Rhubarb Vodka and AQUAVIT to be a couple of my favorites while my girlfriend fell head over heels for their Gin. We bought a couple of bottles and will be introducing it to our friends back in Manitoba. Great thing about this is that you can also order it on line. Drop in and give your tastebuds something to talk about. Thank You!

So happy we happened to drive by this distillery and stopped in. What an amazing place! The service and staff were fantastic and the cocktail I tried was one of the best I’ve ever had!
