Danceland Ballroom

This place has an amazing atmosphere. We went on a Tuesday night and it was packed with people of ALL ages. My kids had a blast and there was some local musicians playing. Great community vibe.

Fantastic live music dance hall. Must been seen, it's like stepping back into the 1940's. Help save Danceland Ballroom from the rising waters of Lake Manitou. Stop in for a tour or the dance and buffet and make a donation we did!

Finally got to visit Danceland and it lived up to all of my expectations. So much history packed into this exquisite lake side gem of a place. Also had the good fortune of getting a tour and learned so much more about its history. Thank you for sharing so much of your time Millie! Acoustics are fantastic and the horse hair dance floor would be a dream to dance on. Hope you didn’t mind me moon walking across the boards. Highly recommended for concerts, dancing and touring!

10/10, amazing food and even better people! We are from out of town and we had a larger group (we didn’t know they recommended a reservation for the buffet). After running into trouble with another restaurant we decided to go to Danceland and they happily let in our large group without a reservation, the people were beyond welcoming! Definitely going back!!

If you are in Manitou Beach on a Tuesday don’t miss going to Tooney Tuesday family dance. So much fun watching all the kids participate

Beautiful dance hall! Huge floating wood floor that is kept in wonderful condition. Not good for ballroom dancing because of the excessive amount of wax they put on it for the country couples dancing, but a joy to experience!

I love this place for it brings Joy just the pleasure of being in such a vintage restructured place of grand memories people of all walks and Ages come they dress up on Tuesday nights in the summer it's at Uni to come for an hour and a half of dancing to real music saxophones playing really plays that little piano electric thing and she doesn't even have to look at the keys and Jerome play the saxophone that is well worth $2,000 she is worth a fortune and well over the age that most people would be doing such things and then there's me I have a different outfit for every time I go and I like to dance with people who would never get up and dance with people who can dance at the Gold level and besides that if you don't get up and dance at the I just simply Dance by myself and then other people join me and you can make it a spiritual and an event as you like well there's also a supper on the weekends before and I know all the people who do the cooking and it is incredible and then there's Judy J so just makes the place so special and Flyknit need to name a whole bunch of people that's enough for right now

Largest hall I have ever seen. Unique horsehair under the hardwood floor which softens the dancing so that you can 'dance all night long'. The owner hosts weddings and dances at this venue. She was getting ready for a Valentines dance this past weekend. Buffet included. The hall been there for 86 years.
