Madalena and Marcelo are the most wonderful pair. They researched and visited sites ahead of time and so when we arrived for our engagement shoot and for our wedding, they already knew exactly where the best lighting and shots would be. They were incredibly professional and made the process easy and seem natural. The photos are candid and really captured our joy and excitement. I would highly recommend Samba Joy for any and all occasions and I cannot wait for another event to work with them again!

Madalena and Marcelo photographed our destination wedding in Mexico. They are very talented and professional photographers who made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. They were prepared, efficient (important in 40 degree heat!) and reliable. They were great at capturing candid and emotional shots as well, which was important to us. Marcelo is a master photographer! He made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera. He was also happy to go with the flow as we asked for some planned photos and some candid.
