Both Alicia & Jessica were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, patient with all my questions and indecisiveness. I loved dealing with them. Alicia even helped load the boxes in my car. They really went above and beyond to provide great customer service.The store itself is in a convenient location with plenty of parking. It is super helpful to be able to bring the floor samples back home to be able to get an idea of what it is going to look like. Happy to support a local Canadian business.

We had an excellent experience with our renovation project for Hardwoods, tiling and Shower stall.The staff was amazing, Carly was very helpful and knowledgeable with the various products. We had the installation done on time as promised and Frank the owner is superb. The overall experience has been FANTASTIC!

We have worked with Modern Hardwood on several projects, but this was our biggest one yet. The team is absolutely incredible, communicative and kind. They are with you every step of the way. The installers did a fantastic job installing our herringbone and straight plank. The entire team, especially our rep Alicia has impeccable customer service. Very good selection of flooring. Installation of the hardwood flooring was professional and looks fantastic. It did take awhile to book the install date however we are very happy with the final outcome.

The service received over the phone was completely different from the store. We were left alone multiple times while the ladies attended to customers over the phone. As far as I know, a customer at the store in front of you takes precedence over a customer phoning in. Now, I understand why the service over the phone was better. But don't get me started with the misquoted information. I was looking forward to buying from them, with a service like that, I will go where I'm appreciated. I am unsure if this is an ethnicity bias. Unfortunately, the treatment was disrespectful and utterly rude. Do better or train the ladies on customer service.

Our experience from the minute we stepped in the door to the completion of the work was effortless and impeccable. Carly gave straight-up answers to all of our questions and very good advice about product quality and selection for our needs. There was never hesitation from Carly to give us ballpark prices for all of the brands and selections we were interested in, and that's all we expected. We had a quote in no time from Frank and it was very good considering we needed so much work done and wanted particular underpad installed - nothing we mentioned was ever a problem. Kevin and Justin did such good work installing the high quality engineered wood - Kevin is very detail oriented and consulted with me every time he needed a decision or wanted me to see a potential problem. I would not hesitate to use Modern Hardwood again and I very highly recommend this company.
