AiSushi Scarborough

The food was good, but this place is dirty. The floor near the entrance, leading to the restrooms, and especially in the men’s room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. Also, see this oil-stained tissue? I noticed it when I arrived at 11:00 (when they open), and it was still there when I left at 1:00.

All the food items were super good! The quality and size of the sashimi was super! The beef skewers were so good! The bottom part of the Japanese Cheesecake dried up(think it was cut and kept on the plate some time ago.).The servers are very kind as well. This place beats almost all sushi AYCE places in my opinion.

For a special occasion, my family and I reserved a table for 8 around 5:30 pm. It was a good call on our part, before after our two hour limit at 7:30 pm, the place was PACKED.We got seated in the back, where (I believe) was actually the best seating in the house since we got our own little private corner. This table was a mix of chairs and bench seating, which we liked.Overall, I'd say this was one of the best AYCE experiences I've had in a long time. The quality of the food itself was good and tasty. Things I especially liked were the fried tofu (the sauce was delicious), the cheese wonton (which came out piping hot!), The sashimi pieces (which were very thick and fresh), as well as the handrolls (one of my favorites when it comes to sushi but always too expensive at à la cart so I get it at AYCE). OH, I almost forgot to mention their pork tonkotsu ramen which was on point! It tasted very similar to the ramen you go out for, as it had the same type of noodles and a very creamy, flavorful broth... Just mini-sized! Too cute.The thing I was most pleased with is actually their ordering system. At many other restaurants, we always fall into the issue of big groups surrounding one or two iPads, which made the whole process very tedious. Here, they give you a QR code to scan and connect to their wifi, then another code to scan to reach their ordering system, specific to your table. This meant that everyone was able to connect on their own devices (i.e. phones) to order. This made the process more efficient so you didn't waste your two hours waiting for your turn on the iPad.Following that, the food also came out very quickly.Service was also great. Most (if not all) of the staff were masked, while also providing friendly and efficient service. I appreciate that the servers were very responsive.The price point was quite good I'd say as well. It was $38.95 per adult since it was the weekend, but if you come Monday to Thursday, you can get the AYCE for $35.95. Do note, they also do takeout like their other locations, which I always hear good things about. But yes, this is their only AYCE location.Brief mention, the washroom was small but clean. There were two stalls, one bigger for better access.

Excellent staff service. Very good food size portion in term of all you can eat. Many buffet they cut their sushi sashimi very thin, but here they don't. The size are normal good size. Food came very fast even on the very busy day. Both raw fish and kitchen food are very good. We went there many times and will keep going. hopefully they will keep this high standard of service and quality.

Great take out platters. Good variety, very tasty and good price. Tried AYCE as well - there’s no iPad; order via your phone. They do have limits to how much you can add to your cart at once to make sure you don’t order too much and that you’re mindful of what you’re ordering. Sashimi is very fresh and they had good variety. Like that they have torched sushi as well.Came on a weekday when it was not busy but the food still took a while to come out.

My first time there. The food was well presented and quite delicious. The service was quick. I don't eat sushi but there were lots of other food choices which I took advantage of considering it was an all you can eat restaurant. Another hidden gem in Scarborough that I will be returning to

The best place to get sushi, big diverse menu, the atmosphere is definitely there, the music they play is great! And everything is so fresh and delicious! Lastly a great price for all you can eat!!!!

Great spot for ayce sushi. Came for a birthday party, so didn’t get much pics of foodThe only ai sushi location I know that offers ayce. The other spots offer takeout sushi at affordable pricesThe fish was very fresh here and just as you would expect from any ai sushi location. The usual offering but there was one item that stuck out. Their sushi pizzas are a really nicely thought out. The pizza base is actually tempura and then you have the fish on top. A great sushi pizza alternative to the norm with the deep fried riceLove the vibes from here. Totally not what you would be expecting until you walk through those doors, it just takes you by surprise and gives you good feelings!Service was good. Considering the large party we had, they turned over our selections fairly quickly and tended to needs as much as possible. When arriving and waiting for the birthday person, there were some seating issues and considering how many people, it would’ve been nice for accommodating only one more table. Awesome and popular restaurant for sushi lovers, plus has a wide variety of other food for the people who don't necessarily like sushi. Decently priced for all you can eat which is slightly higher on the weekends. Good option because a similar concept restaurant in Scarborough closed down.You order from your phone and the dishes come out quickly which is a plus.
